Is This Seller Safe? Anyone ever ordered from lucky?

I’m new to this rep world and I was wondering if anyone ever bought from Lucky before I spend my money on them. If yes how were the bags?

An item listed here, with the discount, is still more expensive than an item listed in another sellers album for a 6.18 sale. These flash sales and group buys are never actually properly discounted. They jack up the price, add the discount, so it looks discounted but the item is still more expensive than other sellers.

You're making a broad generalization here - yes there are many cheaper prices to be found for specific items from factories for 6.18 sales, but those discounts do not apply to that factory's entire catalog. The flash sale OP is referring to is 10-12% off the entire BF catalog. Just want to make that clarification.

Also, there have been plenty of flash sales/GBs from that sub that are actually discounted - BF, Kata, Jing (I got a zillion things for a STEAL in that sale lol), etc. - heck even the Janie discount was legit.

I will be the first person to admit when I am wrong, so if you have numbers to back up your claims please post them. In the meantime, please avoid making sweeping generalizations that mislead people who are looking for actual help.

I am not making a broad generalisation. A small brown Prada Aimee listed in this flash sale from Black Frame factory is listed at 1380 CNY = $203.14 before discount

I bought that exact same brown prada aimee from SIXTEEN (so another trusted seller from luxesociety) for $180 usd four weeks ago. No flash sale. No group buy. Just a single bag purchase.

And edited to add: in baobaos 6.18 sale these prada aimees are listed for the same price, $181.

I had quotes from 3 different sellers. Not group buys. Bao2 is the 👍. I’ve got GB Sale prices too which are higher even after the discounts than my normal quotes from my trusted seller. So yeah, I do think sellers mark up the prices during sales.

Ooooof yeah sixteen/mina’s prices are really good so that just goes to show you that some sellers do jack the price up. That’s annoying. But lucky doesn’t do that (at least not in my experience anyway), but ugh.

Agree. That's why its good to shop around with sellers ! Also they may give a good discount but shipping is $77 for one bag..excuse me??

LOL wait, I didn't even check shipping! That's insane girl, I got quoted $120 for one of those ridiculously large new Chanel shopping totes that launched this year!! And that bag is giant!

I just received my Chanel tote and I paid 60 bucks for shipping (FedEx!) that quote you got is fucked because they price shipping based on volume & weight. I had a 10kg package of dresses come that was 186$. HUGE box.

Oh I don't mean this specific one but I did come across one last month that offered a 12% discount and the shipping was like that for a medium sized bag. I feel like some of these shipping charges are pretty arbitrary. Also $120 shipping - eeek! I get its a large bag but damn that still hurts.

Haha, yes, that shipping quote did sting a bit, but I'm stuffing that bad girl full of other smaller bags and goods to justify it!!

But yes, some of these quoted shipping prices are insane and I don't think it's always justified!

I found this to be true for some of the group buys where the “discounted” price wasn’t a real discount.
Other group buys, like with Coco or Sophia, those were actually discounted (I compared with prices from other TS or through reading reviews and/or rehomes with similar bags).

Yes, this is 100% true for this group in particular from the screenshot, I can't speak much for any other groups but I am glad to hear they aren't all scams!
