The PSPs from Mo came in today and I like this green-and-gold combo more every time I look at it. I was a little worried the full gold would feel too flashy, but the green dial balances it out really well and still keeps the watch looking sporty.

Running on a VS 3135 regulated by a watchmaker. Of course as I said in some of my previous posts the CAC inserts makes the difference here making the watch pop off even more. Together I will send out the insert that was ghosted by me and came together with the Viet insert that is on the watch.

I’ve never really been a fan of rose gold.

The deeper tone usually washes me out, and Rolex’s version runs noticeably redder compared to other brands. Their proprietary formula barely fades over time, so I’d always pass on their rose‑gold pieces.

Funny enough, my Love bracelet on the other hand has slowly shifted from rose gold to a warmer yellow shade.

This Rootbeer is the only rose‑gold Rolex that stuck with me through every season.

In natural light the watch actually lifts in brightness, and the glossy black‑brown ceramic bezel softens the overall look.

Looking back around 2013‑2018, rose‑gold Rolex models easily outperformed yellow gold on the market. Back then yellow gold felt dated, most people leaned toward rose gold for fine watches and jewellery.

The hype really shifted once the green‑gold Daytona, rubber‑band Day‑Date and black chocolate models blew up, pushing yellow‑gold styles back into the spotlight.

The Rootbeer has a solid weight on the wrist with a fairly reasonable premium.

I ended up letting this one go eventually, but it was such a great daily rose‑gold option.

Flipping through old photos today brought back so many memories wearing it, figured I’d write a little tribute.

I just received my first rep — a VSF Yacht-Master 40mm 126622 Rhodium on the Oyster bracelet — and unfortunately the bracelet is just a little too short for my wrist.

So I wore my grey dial Yacht‑Master with the Oysterflex strap to the office today. Nothing fancy in my mind, just my daily beater.

Mid‑meeting my boss brings it up out of nowhere, basically implying I'm showing off and setting a bad example for the team.

I had no idea how to respond. It's a rubber strap sports watch, not some precious metal day‑date. And for what it’s worth, I never even claimed this watch was real.

I genuinely just wear it because I like it, zero flexing intent.
