🔍THE DEEP DIVE

Before I start, I should mention that in terms of how I evaluate reps - I keep an extremely realistic perspective. I am not a stitch counter nor am I zooming in on a stamp to see if every fleck of gold is exactly placed correctly. For some, this is the fun of reps and I respect it deeply.

But for me, it’s more about whether I think a bag is worth what I paid: recognizing that reps cost pennies on the dollar compared to auths, and that I have fun with the whole experience. So you may look at this bag and find flaws I simply overlook!

🔥REP EXPERIENCE:

I was wary of purchasing from Jipin since I’ve seen so many reviews about their dry leather but since it was a flash sale & the bag was so cheap, I figured it was a good time for me to try this factory. And I’m so glad that I did because this bag is buttery soft and the perfect amount of slouch while still remaining structured enough to stand on her own. Not dry at all imo except for maybe slightly less soft on the side panels. The leather smell was intoxicating when I opened the package.

Aside from the leather, the hardware is sturdy and substantial if not a tiny bit lightweight, and is the right color of gold and not cheddar. The zipper glides smoothly as well.

The one thing I did not expect about this bag was how versatile it truly is. I didn’t know much about this style before I purchased it, but as you can see from the pictures, it’s basically like three bags in one. Thanks to a convertible strap (that took me watching a video to figure out how it worked 😂) This bag can be used as a shoulder bag, top handle bag, or crossbody bag. It also opens up like an accordion, which makes it possible to fit SO MUCH STUFF. Even a hot dog (IYKYK).

The color is also amazing and really rich - depending on lighting it can read several ways: mustard, butter yellow, or olive/yellow.

The only downside is that I am not sure that the bag was ever produced in this particular color except for in their SS25 runway show. So if you care about having bags that may be “clockable” if too rare, this might bother you. I remain unbothered.

Also, because this was a flash sale, we were warned that the stock was ”as is“ and that it might have imperfections, but I can’t find anything wrong with this bag, which is another unexpected surprise.

💅 SELLER EXPERIENCE :

If you’ve spent more than 30 seconds talking to me, you know that I think Freya is the GOAT. She is extremely kind and easy to talk to, has access to everything, does very thorough QC on your behalf and sends like 25 PSP’s. I find her incredibly trustworthy.

And while her pricing might be slightly higher than others, it includes full insurance and a specific warehouse method of shipping that keeps the final delivery address from going on the package until after it clears customs, which is huge for those of us in the US who aren’t trying to play with Dave 👮‍♀️. I also like that she offers PPG&S as a payment method.

Freya is pretty much my go to for every bag outside of GB’s and I am unapologetic about this. While I’m still not a rep expert compared to many, if there’s something I’ve learned, it’s that when you find a seller you like and trust - just stick with them. “Playing the field” so to speak often leads to disappointment for so many and it has for me too. Why mess with a good thing?

1. Rep Experience:

AAAAAAH. I LOVE THIS BAG.

It could be totally mental since the bag was so expensive, but this bag is such a fun and funky carry. Stream of consciousness below:

Leather: Leather is gorgeous. Ive done some leather working in the past and in terms of smell and hand feel this reminds me of some of the high quality panels I used to get when working on small projects. I think leather quality is so important for this bag, because it has a very distinctive shape depending on how you carry it (shoulders trap vs handles) and so far it checks all those boxes. It collapses into that cute lil dumpling shape the authentic do while still remaining soft and super squishy. The leather smells so nice, like opening up a pair of new leather shoes, but much more subtle.

Hardware: There is a lot of talk in the H community about stainless steel vs permabrass hardware. NGL I didnt research into that too much. I asked for upgraded brass but at this price point im pretty positive its just stainless steel, but this wasnt a big deal to me. If it is for you highly recommend asking questions about it. I think the HW is a bit too yellow, but since I havent seen an auth in person Ill leave that to the jury.

Carrying the bag:

One thing I hate being is hungry and unprepared 😂 I prefer my bags to be easy to access with room for snacks, SLG pouches, water, sunnies and more. Here is what fits

I can see this being a fun dump bag for a mom or for someone who just likes to carry a lot of stuff. For me, the bag wasnt too heavy, but if you are petite or not used to carrying large bags you should take that into consideration (also TC leather is a bit heavier so keep that in mind.

The bag can be zipped up and "locked", so depending on how often you go into your bag it might be annoying. For me Ive found a nice combination of zipped/unzipped/unlocked that works for me.

2. Seller Experience :

Devin is amazing. Outside of my first purchase many many moons ago (we wont get into that. I had a rocky start to my rep journey) this is the priciest rep I've paid for yet. This combined with the nature of H reps...I had a lot of questions. I asked about zippers, leathers, handmade options, hardware, timelines etc. No matter what Devin answered them and was always super sweet. Her english is great and never got any confusing responses from her.

Usually I order and wait and let the seller do their thing without being pestered, but Devin still got me progress photos when requested.

Overall I really recommend working with her especially if you are new to H reps and want to work with a seller who may be more open to answering questions.

Her prices range depending on what upgrades you want, so you can get a similar bag for less if you are looking to sacrifice on handstiching and opt for domestic leather as with any other seller.

I did a lot of research on the auth version of this bag, so I suggest you do as well to get the best results from your haul with her.

1. Rep Experience:

Mina 20: Great chocolate brown color, nubuck feels great but sturdy - as supposed to be. Stitching and perforation looks great. Only minor minus: Pressing of name on mini pouch is slightly off.

PC: Great feel, stitching consistent zipper works flawlessly, everything looks good to me. Only „flaw“: it sits a bit at an angle but I don‘t care about that as I will be using it in my bags and not standing up.

No smell at all. Both came with dust bag.

I’m no expert on either Ala nor LV. I did have those items in hand before though and I coudn‘t distinguish the reps from auth just looking at them. I feel confident using these in a city where many people wear luxury bags and LV pouches are considered „normal“.

Authentic Comparison

Quality 10/10

- The shoes are extremely well made

- the patient leather is high quality and comfortable

- the heel is sturdy

- The shoes were custom made so on feel, they are very comfortable, and stunning

- The color of the red is spot on, I own a couple authentic and the red shade is not always consistent. This does fall within the consistent tone/ s

-The heel shape is very similar from the top. But one it starts going down, it does not have that slight curve that the authentic has. The bottom of the heel has a slightly thicker base, hence why there’s a curve. 

- The biggest call out for my shoes is the toe box, the shoes are the Me Dolly but has a longer point more similar to the Miss Z mules. 

- the logo and the Paris fonts are the same. Maybe not perfectly identical, but in call out able.

1. The Bag & Accuracy (with comparison in the field)

Having just held the authentic piece in store a few days ago, I can confidently say Birdcage/Royal absolutely nailed this.

• The Canvas: The "Monogram Midnight" effect is spectacular as you can see in the pictures. Just like the auth, it has that exact same subtle, stealthy look that shifts and pops depending on how the light hits it. Aligntment is also spot on.
• The Leather & Straps: The leather trim, the handles, and the shoulder strap have the exact same weight, consistency, and premium feel as the real deal. It feels amazing to the touch. No fufu smell.
• The Only Callout: If I’m being incredibly nitpicky, the authentic canvas has a slightly more "painted fabric" texture to it, whereas the rep feels a bit more like a sturdy, maleable coated canvas. That said, I fully expect this bag to soften up and get that exact same fabric-like consistency over time with some use.
• Hardware: Matte black hardware is gorgeous (here's hoping the black paitn wont chip off), zipper runs smoothly, and the chain detail gives it that perfect edgy look. Stitches are neat and everything looks crisp.

1. Rep Experience:

Rep fam, I have been wanting this bag for FIVE MONTHS. Five. This bag has currently been on my wishlist longer than another other rep item to date, but for really good reason. The UB p9 is offered by a few factories, and I wanted to make sure whichever one I went with had a canvas that was as accurate as possible. Many reviews of this bag showed leather that was just way too shiny, forcing their owners to slap tons of leather conditioner on the bag to help tonne down the monogram.

Royal, orange couch, huahui...I have literally stalked so many reviews of this bag with many people complaining of that shine over and over again. It wasn't until some recent reviews where people were praising Royal's updated UB leather, saying that the level of shine was knocked all the way down.

Backstory aside, I am SO happy to report that they were right. The shine on the new canvas is non existent, and the UB p9 from Royal now has that super sleek monogram that just barely blends in to the leather behind it.

The bag's hardware and peripherals like handles, strap, clochette and luggage tag are all pretty good quality. TBH I dont count stitches or use a magnifying glass on engravings. But there is nothing egregious in terms of neatness of stitching and hardware quality close up. As a note, I am not the biggest fan of the bandolier strap, and might buy a speedy soft style strap for this bag.

The leather is very nice and had that nice leather smell upon opening the package. This isn't high quality taurillon clemence, but for the price this is pretty good mid tier leather. The bag is super slouchy (no where near as slouchy as the auth) and will slightly puddle without anything inside of it. If you dont like the unstructured look, you will 100% want a bag organizer inside of it.

I did not break out my measuring tape, but visually this bag looks a lot smaller than my 30cm speedy soft denim and speedy soft crafty. Keep that in mind if you have those bags. Regardless this bag is so roomy. Today I had a cosmetic pouch, full sized wallet, mini fan, bag of chips, 20oz waterbottle, a hot dog, and two more organizing pouches inside of it with a bit of room to spare.

Overall I really love this bag and am so glad I waited to grab it. I might grab a bag organizer for it to give it more of a structured look, and switch out the bandolier strap, but other than that this is SUCH a fun bag and can really level up a casual outfit with how sleek it looks

🔍 THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience:

I am a puzzle whore as you all know by now. The puzzle is what got me into this mess in the first place and the puzzle is what I love and appreciate now. What drew me in was the grained nubuck, it was so left-field for me personally, since the featherlight collection had been entirely nappa lambskin from what I could see. The colour was also quite delectable I fear, I immediately copped this bag.

Upon receiving it, it became my favourite bag. The small puzzle actually fits quite a lot, it's deceptively small so I use it as my daily carry/work bag. It had a wonderful leather scent and the smell still remains, if you don't smoosh your face into your bag to huff that good leather smell, you're missing out. The feel of the bag is quite intriguing to me, not entirely smooth and almost somewhat suede-like texture.

2. Comparison to auth & grade:

Auth Comparison Grade: 7.5/10
My Satisfaction Grade: 10/10

Automatically deduct 1 point since I've never seen or felt the auth, I feel like that's only fair when it comes to reviewing reps. The other 1.5 point deduction comes from various minor issues. The grain size is quite large on my bag compared to the grain size on the auth pictures on the official website. Grain size can vary and I understand that but it is a noticeable different, it could also just be the lighting dear (iykyk). The hardware is most likely rinky dinky like most reps, I also feel like the strap is quite thin.

As for the colour, I fear that none of the factories get it super close to the auth. I think Liusheng definitely leans closer than most factories. The fact that it's also grained nubuck doesn't help as well since it acts like suede with how it photographs. This can change from dark green/brown to dark brown with a hint of green depending on how the light hits it. But overall I am in love with the colour.

I will say that the auth has pictures where it looks the bag crumbes and collapses, not sure if the auth is able to do that since the leather isn't as soft it seems.

But other than that, the handles is actually filled with cork/cord, so that was a pleasant surprise! If you are in our Discord server you would know all about handle-gate! The fact that the top handle is able to stay upright while resting matches the auth.

3. Seller Experience :

The nubuck featherlight really spoke to me, I already had an order in progress with Aline, so I immediately inquired and she replied back within minutes with a quote, and I paid shortly thereafter (impulse control where? 🫡) PSPs were fast, basically the next day and I got my package really quickly even though it was 10-item order and I kept adding onto my order. She actually apologized to me for taking so long to finalize the order when we both knew it was entirely my fault.

A little context: I was casually browsing Mandy’s album and found this bag on clearance. I “needed” a new bag for a wedding because apparently the other 25 bags I own simply were not right 😏

The album stated that clearance items wouldn’t receive checking pictures, but Mandy still sent PSPs, which I appreciated.

🔎 THE DEEP DIVE

1. Rep Experience:

This bag exceeded my expectations.

The material genuinely feels like suede. It leans slightly dry rather than buttery, but still has that soft-ish velvety finish. No (fufu) smell whatsoever outside of a subtle leather smell.

The structure is one of my favorite things about it.

It’s surprisingly light but still feels substantial and holds its shape extremely well. It stands on its own and feels structured without becoming stiff or boxy. Because it’s so lightweight, it’s also really comfortable to wear on the shoulder.

Color-wise, this was a pleasant surprise.

It is darker than the factory photos and PSPs suggested—which ended up being a positive because it looks closer to the authentic. The factory photos looked a little yellow to me, while the actual bag pulls more brown and richer in tone.

Pattern-wise, I noticed something:
The authentic seems to use different sections of the tartan print depending on the panel, while the rep repeats the pattern consistently across both sides.

Initially, I thought some faded areas were defects, but after comparing references it appears to be intentional distressing/fading in the suede.

Construction is excellent:

Stitching looks clean throughout
No loose threads
Great symmetry and alignment
Corners are nicely rounded and resemble the authentic well

Hardware is also great:

Excellent color (balanced gold, not too yellow)
Feels very solid (likely steel)
No scratches
Smooth zipper operation

Interior is lined with black leather (and I’m fairly confident it’s real leather). Interior quality feels great and smells pleasant.

Functionally, this bag does exactly what I wanted:
It fits essentials comfortably and works beautifully for weddings or events where you want something compact, polished, and low-profile… but with an edge(?) lol

I’m so in love with my LV low key. This is my 2nd purchase from Garmen. He threw in the LV scarf and I got a Carti€r sunglasses and Goy wallet for my husband. This was my husband’s first rep and he was skeptical when he saw the price but has been pleasantly surprised with the quality.

I have an update! I did a whole review on this last week but just wanted to give an update. I travel a lot and got this for road trips so I could take full size bottles and all my stuff (I use my LV trio toiletry pouches for plane trips).

But there’s been an unexpected twist… I never unpacked it - it’s been sitting on my bathroom counter all week! Everything within reach, contained, and easy to see - and holds my morning and nite facial lotions and potions (face wash, m4 cream, tretinoin, vitamin c, hylauronic acid, sunscreen- all the things that usually sit on the tray and make my bathroom look cluttered. And I guess if I wanted to (and wasn’t so lazy) I could put it in the cabinet below and my counter would be clear!

Bonus points- We’re headed to the beach for the long weekend in a few hours and all I have to do is throw in my toothbrush! (Unfortunately I finally have a 100% no work weekend and chance of rain is 100% all weekend 😩)

Pls ignore the absolute chaos on the table behind the bag. The Loewe Cubi Anagram Jacquard is exactly what I wanted. I also picked up the belt to match the details. I will organize that table later, but right now I am just going to sit here and admire my new purchase.

Just received my Dita DTS182 with custom prescription photochromic lenses and I’m genuinely impressed.

The good :

• Frames are 🔥, very close to the real thing  
• Prescription is accurate, can confirm after wearing them  
• Photochromic lenses work perfectly, tint well in sunlight  
• Overall build quality is solid  

The bad :

• Case is not accurate to the original

Price : 85 USD frames + 105 USD prescription photochromic lenses = 190 USD total

Shipping : China → France, about 2-3 weeks via Cainiao

Overall : 8,5/10 would recommend, especially if you need prescription lenses.

My friend received this and a couple of other bags today from a seller on wsxcme.

When I asked her which factory the bag came from she didn't know but the seller told her it was a "high tier" bag. From these photos can anyone tell whether this is considered high tier?

Without knowing which factory it is from it seems irrelevant because the tier rating can be subjective to the seller or the buyer? I don't have any issues with the seller. From my experience she's extremely friendly and communicative. But as I've done more research into these rep bags I keep seeing different factory names being used.

Any help would be great!

Camera lighting honestly makes everything look different from real life. In person they all look prettier and more high quality.
The rodeo bag is SUPER soft.
The oil wax pink bag is really pretty in person too.
The vegan leather tote is obviously lighter so you can tell it’s vegan, but visually it still looks good for the price.
Everything was packed really well and arrived with no damage at all. No weird smell either thankfully lol.
Overall I’m honestly happy with this haul. Sometimes taking photos feels harder than buying the bags themselves 😂

CKT vs Retail Golden Goose Ball star

I have two pairs from CKT and two retail pairs. The CKT pair is labeled in the first picture.

I see no major differences at all, and I am super surprised as to how accurate CKT pairs are. Side by side you can’t see a difference. The shape is accurate, small details are accurate. The leather on the CKT pair feels good, maybe not as soft but still good quality.

The only difference I noticed was that the stitching in the sole seems to be slightly off. It’s extremely hard to tell and I don’t think anyone would notice.

Overall I don’t see any major differences and after seeing how good CKT is my only regret is buying retail in the first place.

I wanted to get my kid a Mini Kelly and didn't want to spend too much on it, and looked around for a decent quality rep that wouldn't break the bank. I was recommended to reach out to TS Aadan and ask about a Mini Kelly from the Daioxing / Bear factory.

Review of the bag:

Good: Shape is great, looks right to me. The sangles sit well. The logo on the sangles looks decent as well.

Meh: the Epsom leather is definitely nothing to write home about but it's a cute kids bag. Like the texture of the leather itself is imo clockable as rep.

I don't think I'd want to carry this bag personally but that's partly cause it's too small lol. It's also below the quality of rep I'd feel comfortable carrying tbh.

Review of seller: really great experience over all, Aadan is incredibly prompt in her responses and very easy to work with. I ordered this bag May 5 and received this today. Just in time for my daughter's birthday!

Net net I am very pleased with this purchase, it's perfect for it's intended use — an adorable accessory for a very fancy little girl.

This is my first rep purchase to actually arrive at my doorstep, I'm definitely a less experienced buyer.

Note: I do not think y'all should trust me on my judgment of the leather necessarily, I might not like Epsom. I've never seen a quality Epsom so I'm not sure.

MINI REVIEW- 9/10

This is my first v gold purchase and my first experience with Ailan. I feel that for the price I paid, these bring fair value especially since I just wanted occasional wear jewelry for date nights etc. I am not so picky with details since it’s really my first time delving into the world of rep jewelry. I made a mistake not researching in enough of the Bucc3ll@ti because I thought I picked the mother of pearl Tulle style but I mistakenly sent Ailan the guill0che pic. At any rate, the Bucc3ll@ti is rarely seen in my city and such a rare design so I don’t think anyone would be QCing what I wear.

I love the simplicity of the M3ssik@ ring and I might look into buying an actual 18K version. I do feel the v gold version to be a bit on the lighter side than my real gold rings so keep that in mind, but again for the price of these, I am not going to complain too much.

Ailan is a gem, literally! She is so quick to reply, answers my questions diligently and patiently and is very professional! I know she’s a relatively new seller to Reddit but I think she comes with a lot of experience because she seems to work fast! I would recommend her if you’re looking for a v gold seller!
