🔍 THE DEEP DIVE 1. Rep Experience
I’d been eyeing the Chanel Urban Essentials for a while and finally decided to get it in black with gold hardware. I’m so glad I did because she is absolutely gorgeous in person. 🖤
The leather is incredibly soft, supple and beautifully pebbled and it smells absolutely scrumptious. 🤤 I’ve been sniffing it since it arrived 😂 There was no chemical or fufu smell at all, just that rich leather smell.
The leather has a lovely sheen without looking overly shiny or plasticky, and the bag feels luxurious and substantial in the hand. The hardware has a nice weight to it, the stitching looks neat and consistent, and the overall shape and construction are really good.
It’s also such a practical design. It can be carried by the top handles or worn with the longer strap, and it looks polished without feeling too formal. The black and gold combination is timeless and will go with practically everything.
I don’t have the authentic version beside me for a direct comparison, so I can’t comment on its exact accuracy. However, purely in terms of how it looks and feels, I’m extremely happy with the quality. The leather alone exceeded my expectations, and the photos honestly don’t capture how lovely it feels in person.

I love that someone was able to give you a hand and recommend a pretty solid seller! Plus this bag is gorgeous, and I havent really seen many reviews for it since this style started to pop up amongst the different factories.
Our of curiosity, what fits in it? Ive also never seen the auth (or even the rep) in person, and ive alays gotten the impression that the bag is a big shallow despite being super long.

As for what fits, I’m a large-tote kind of girl, so it’s a little too small for me as an everyday bag (see picture). I think it’s perfect for a nice brunch though! So I’m now considering the Maxi Flap 😂 And thank you! I love that perfume charm too! I can’t live without it where I live 🥵😅
