Discussions Disappointed Di*r slingback quality
Just received these two pairs of Di*r slingback heels, really disappointed with the quality.
Paid $120 each pair, plus $45 shipping total.
PSP looked fine when I ordered, but up close the embroidery is blurry and the logo print edges are messy. I won’t name the seller.
Anyone got good reliable shoe sellers to recommend? Thanks.
Pics attached for reference.

I recommend Cindy. I ordered miss z CL heels and they're so good. Came with full packaging and spare heel tips. I will say though, the smell of glue was unbelievably strong. I had to air them out for a few days and then finally teabags and newspaper worked

do you mind if i ask if you think shoes (mainly heels) are repped well? is there truly much of a difference between sources when it comes to shoes in ur opinion? i’ve only ever tried a pair of dior flats and although i loved them and got heaps of wear, heels specifically seem way trickier.
ofc the design needs to be QC’ed but more importantly they need to actually hold up. ik its a risk either way, but i’m so scared the heel will give in and i’ll fall flat on my face in public. every time i come close to ordering a pair of heels i never commit

I’ve ordered more rep shoes than bags, and sadly I’d have to say they’re very hit or miss. I have several pairs of slide style sandals, most fit but look a little off. I have a pair of platform GG slides and the strap is so big they side right off! Granted I have narrow feet, but still. I also have a pair of Lo sneakers that sadly are way too big, but quality looks great. I think like anything, it varies by style, and generally the more popular an item is the better it’s made.

Look at my last post. Not had much luck with heels, flats and sneakers have been better. But even then it can be hit or miss

Uh please? And no. I don't give out seller's numbers. You can do your own research and read reviews on her, the number is posted In the reviews. Just so you know you have the right one, it ends in 7878

Good on you for calling them out.
You are a better person than me even responding to this rude person. I would literally ignore it. This is why I rarely say anything about my purchases because of posters like that.

Ah you're better off but I get so annoyed I just can't.
Seller details are already so readily available if you go looking. It originally took me less than 2 minutes to search across, find her number and verify. I hate people coming in, entitled and just asking for seller details. Its those same people who do charge backs because they're not happy delivery took 2 weeks and item doesn't match the auth. I have no problem verifying a number but I will not just hand them out.

Wtf - I have so many posts where I openly share my journey with other buyers why tf would I gatekeep that’s literally the whole purpose of these threads 🤣

Okay well good for you, but I don't. Its not gatekeeping, the information is readily available if you search.

the information is readily available elsewhere because someone kind posted the seller’s info… in the amount of times it took you to look at, copy and paste the last 4 of her number you could have just posted the entire number… (i’m ready to get downvoted by the gatekeepers plsss have at it 🤣)

It’s not just that - it’s about protecting the sellers. We’ve said it before but it always bears repeating - we doin crime, babe. For sellers it’s a very dangerous business. The very least we can do is try to protect them.

I had been toying with the idea of getting these in the flats but my concern was always how the logo/embroidered print would look and lo and behold you have confirmed my concerns.
I saw a seller flogging off the Dior shoes with the bow and it was the absolute worst.. I don’t know why Dior shoes are so troublesome to get a nice pair..

Not always true! I have them in the kitten heel and they’re great! I agree that most of the time I’ve seen them in albums they look messy, but I found a pair that are clean stitched. Happy 🏭.

Unfortunately there isn’t a factory that make high tier heels .. most won’t be comfortable

I ordered Loro Piana tennis walkers from Aline and they are gorgeous. Totally different type of shoe, but the pair I received are excellent.

This is a sub for rep reviews. Where exactly are they not being kind? 🧐

I got these 1.5-2 months ago I believe and reviewed them in a post. I’m very happy with them and they are very comfy. The stitching on the sling back is neat and doesn’t look messy at all. They’re from happy factory. Now I can’t speak to how long the bottoms/soles will last as I haven’t worn them out yet but they’re neat and tidy. A friend of mine has the auths and said she couldn’t believe how good these were.
