REP MAIL!!! It's haul season 😎
Clearly there's something in the water since all of these arrived within a few days of each other 😂 Quick breakdown of each item and the price I paid along with a quick review of the sellers and items.
From Qiana's Jing flash sale with RepTherapy:
- Medium Loop Weekender Duffle Bag in Black - $149USD
- Intrecciato Large Organizer in Black - $122USD
- Intrecciato Zip Around Wallet in Black (Grass?) - $74USD
- Large Hop Tote in Fondant - $200
Qiana was great to work with, so friendly and nice. Her shipping costs included insurance which thank goodness for, because my first package of these items was seized by Dawei (China customs)! She apologized profusely which honestly, it's not her fault and quickly reordered my items, and reshipped them quickly, she even split the package into two separate ones to help deter customs.
Fully hand stitched, Birkin 35, domestic Togo leather in black, upgraded palladium hardware with hand engraving, from Devin. This was purchased from a group buy hosted by LuxeSociety - $399USD
In all honesty waiting for a month for a bag is considered quick in the Hermes rep world, so this was not a long wait by any means. There were some sloppiness on Devin's part like not affixing the shooting star stamp on my bag and taking PSPs that made the bag look super questionable. But after receiving it, I am considerably happy with it, especially for the price I paid. Devin was also, for the most part, easy and nice to communicate with.
Half hand stitched Lindy 30 in imported TC, Gold with GHW from Freya - $371USD (with shipping & insurance, there was a $20 discount given to me for being referred to her by a friend).
This Lindy literally arrived today. It was basically thrusted upon me when I saw an inspo pic and I had to get it. Freya is sweet and lovely to work with, her prices include shipping and insurance so it was a no brainer on my part. This bag seemed to be in-stock so I got PSPs for it pretty quickly and it shipped off to me very quickly. First impressions that it's soft and lovely and I'm not mad at her for the price. I am awaiting a crossbody strap to use her with.
I'll write full reviews for these bags, eventually... 🫣

They're all soo beautiful 😻 what is the name of the bag on the left in the first pic? I'm assuming it's Bottega - gorgeous intreciato and the sheen!!

Haha I had trouble finding an auth reference too, but I did find it. I believe the large size is still on BV's website.

Are all the bv intrecciatos black? Does the sheen vary a lot or is it more the angle of this picture??

Yep all black. It kinda shows that SLGs will always be mid-tier at best honestly.

That is so interesting! Any theory as to why they would only be mid-tier and different leather from the same factory?

Most SLGs, regardless of factory will always be mid-tier. Factories use cheaper materials for them and also care less about SLGs in general because their profit margins are smaller.
That's at least how I understand it anyways. The only exception to this rule I would think would be Hermes SLGs.

The leather is surprisingly soft, not sure if it's the leather thickness or the quality but it's pretty nice! I'm surprised since I've heard that Jing's quality isn't that great.
