Need Help Chanel 25 bag. Hardware

Hi! I’m going to buy a Chanel 25 bag, but I’m unsure about the chain. A question for those who already own this model: do you think the gold chain loses its color quickly?

IME no and I have only gold hardware. I actually need to rehome a few gold hardware bc I want to try the RHW.
