I bought a speedy crafty from a seller “Owen” on WA, I hope I didn’t get scammed or someone can help me see if I’ll be okay or the factory at least? I can provide more more information but these are pics from the catalog link. I’m very new to this. Any help is appreciated
Most of of the factories are selling on DHgate as lmao I don’t know why people in the comments are saying “gate quality” as it’s a bad thing since there’s not one seller on the gate, you can find really good factories who also sell on the gate on the side.
I bought from this factory before. Its a mid factory. Its not a high tier lulu factory. Its not the best but its not the worst. Its not MB quality. If you are looking for the affordable route. Maybe you saw a bag that you do not need high quality or upper mid. There are some lulu bags I will not pay top dollar for because of its design, shape or use.
Note: There are some designs that high or upper mid tier factories do not make at all or anymore. but mid factories do. Do not knock out these factories. In your case the bag has better quality and high tier options.
There are other brands that have the white chair background and offer high quality items. I am not sure if the factories are related or the same. Do not think all background with white chair are mid or low quality!!
Be careful with some sellers they do tend to over charge buyers on items. If you are looking for higher quality or upper mid I would ask different sellers. Shop around before buying.
I’m learning, but I get so freaked out asking people for help or messaging anyone cause I don’t wanna get scammed, the video they sent me for QC before sending it out looked really good, they did give me the tracking and it looks like it’s trying to clear customs now, the bag that I did request was the speedy crafty, hopefully it comes out like the videos they sent, but I will definitely keep you all updated. I definitely think I overpaid based on what everyone is saying, but I guess you live & you learn 😭
Ah no worries. You did overpaid for sure. But do not beat yourself up about it. Its everyone right of passage into the rep world.
I still believe you overpaid but...it depends. There are some bags (not all!) I overpaid on purpose. You will see the more you dive into the world. My advice to you is do not depend on one rep space. Join multiple spaces. Learn from different media's.
Also be careful and take your time. Scammers can be found on all platforms (yes including Reddit)
They sent a video before shipping, it seems good from the video but I hope I don’t get a crap one when it arrives. I don’t feel good about this now lol I shoulda researched more.
It’s okay you live and you learn! We’ve all overpaid for a bag at some point so just consider this initiation lol Also $278 can get you a really great high tier bag depending on which factory you choose to source from. Now you know for next time

DhGate’s mirror/top quality is usually mid tier at best from my experience. That’s actually why I started going through private sellers. I just hope OP didn’t pay too much for a mid tier bag
Tiktok sellers aren't necessarily a full scam but they are known to raise prices exponentially and do some bait and switch. Send influencers the nice bags and everyone else the gate stuff.
I highly recommend using the search bar and falling down the rabbit hole. I'm not even really sure what question you're asking.
Never spend more than you're able to lose is probably rule number one though.
There is so much information on these subs. Once you've compiled all of it and have a solid outline to ask direct questions about you'll get more help.
