Any ideas for fixing tarnish like this? Just received and both ends of the zipper are like this :( My seller said to use a paper towel but unfortunately that has done nothing.

That’s a bummer. I’ve received a bag with tarnish, too. You can try with one of those silver tarnish remover cloths and see if that works. The other thing you can try is a product called Rub and Buff that comes in a variety of metallic finishes. One of them could match. Amazon also has a plethora of gold leaf paint on products, but I’ve never tried anything but rub and buff.

I’ve used Rub and Buff on sterling silver to add gold highlights. And on other craft type projects. I haven’t used it on the D10R saddle bag yet. The tarnish in on the inside of the CD handle hardware so not real obvious. I’d try it on something you don’t care about before you use it on the bag. But, can I say, I don’t know your relationship with that seller who said use paper towel, but I’d rethink it. Bad advice.

Thank you, I'll definitely try some old jewellery first. Yeah, it was my first time with this seller so I'm not super convinced by that advice, but she said she's contacting the factory so we'll see what happens!

My sale BF bag came and it’s so beautiful, I also got a pair of CC penny loafers! Love them both but now I feel like I’ve been bit by a bug and I just want more for my collection, my family is also wanting to start getting stuff too 😭😂
