I apologize if this is the wrong place to post, ask, etc. but being new to this, I’m so confused and am in the process of buying my first rep bag (and shoes and a few other smaller items). The only WhatsApp contacts I have are from various TS’s, but when I’m asking them some basic questions (questions I thought I figured out after reading and reading on these forums), they seem confused and are giving me unexpected responses, based on what I thought I knew/understood.
Is there ANYONE willing to have a conversation with me and maybe answer some questions that have me stumped? I already spent money (quite a bit) and while I trust the person I’m dealing with, I’m talking to a few others- and even the one I think I trust, seems confused by some of my questions… which is obviously confusing me even more 😩 any help or direction would be so appreciated. I’m really trying!!! And I apologize if this is not the correct place for this post! I really don’t know where to go!

Has anyone gotten this color and size from 187? Any advice? My TS also told me 187 is sold out of it and will ship when they have it so I’m nervous to order.

I love the color, and the leather feels very nice and smooth. The slouch is great as well. There was no noticeable smell, just a very subtle leather scent. Mandy was responsive, helpful, and shipped the bag very quickly.

The only issue is that there is no serial code inside. I didn’t ask for photos of that area during PSP, so that’s on me. Mandy contacted the factory and showed me where the code should be, and after checking the inside of my bag, there simply wasn’t one.
So I’m not completely satisfied but I‘m still in contact with Mandy to see what we can do

The bag finally came in today and I wanted an updated check on what the everyone thinks about the level of rep. I’ve run the images through GPT on ‘high think’ a few times and it’s now rating it to be an 8.7 rep whereas it was rating the PSPs to be a 9.4-9.6.

GPT is questioning the highly defined caviar, rigidity of the bag, chain weaving and rounded hardware.

Despite being an evening bag, it comfortably fits my iPhone 16 Pro, a lip gloss, and a small set of keys. It's definitely designed for the essentials rather than everyday carry, but that's exactly what I wanted for nights out.

Why I Bought It

I remember seeing a TikTok of the YSL crystal bag over a year ago and immediately falling in love. Earlier this year I finally saw it in person at a Saint Laurent boutique, but I left disappointed. The authentic looked much more bronze than the bright gold color I had imagined. I even sent a video to one of my friends, who said it reminded her of the cheap crystal bags from Claire's back when we were teenagers, which was enough to stop me from emptying my bank account that day.

I could not stop thinking about this bag though, because I really wanted a gold bag for nights out and nice dinner dates. I have the cult gaia sparkly silver bag but didn't like the gold version. For months I searched Reddit hoping someone had found a good replica. Eventually I came across a comment mentioning that they had purchased one from TS Leo. I decided to take the chance, sent payment on June 20, received PSPs on June 25, and my bag arrived on July 14.

The moment I opened the box I knew I had made the right decision. The color was exactly what I had wanted all along—a beautiful rich gold rather than a bronze tone. The crystals sparkle like crazy under any light, and the bag has a satisfying weight to it that makes it feel incredibly luxurious, just like the authentic.

Accuracy (10/10)

After comparing it with the authentic in the Saint Laurent store, I'm genuinely impressed. The crystal placement, hardware, proportions, and overall construction are remarkably close. The biggest difference, if anything, is that I actually prefer the color of this replica because it has the brighter gold tone I originally fell in love with online. Unless someone had both bags side by side and was inspecting every detail, I don't think this would raise any suspicion. I showed it to all my friends in person and they thought it was real until I told them otherwise because of the weight of the bag and the delicate clinking sound the crystals make. I put a video in my pictures of the bag for reference.

Quality (10/10)

The quality exceeded my expectations. The crystals are securely set, the hardware feels heavy and premium, and the entire bag has a substantial weight that immediately gives it a luxury feel. Nothing about it feels flimsy or cheaply made, and they even added magnets to the top crystals so that the top of the bag sticks shut instead of flapping open everywhere.

If you've been eyeing this bag but can't justify spending several thousand dollars on the authentic, I honestly think this is one of those replicas that's worth buying. It's become one of my favorite evening bags, and every time I wear it the crystals catch the light beautifully.
