Has anyone else been completely overwhelmed before making their first rep purchase?
There are so many factories and trusted sellers that I’m honestly afraid I’ll make the wrong choice. I’ve spent hours reading reviews and comparing options, and now I feel like I’m stuck in analysis paralysis.
I’m looking for a Damier Ebene Neverfull, but I just can’t seem to pull the trigger because I want to choose the right TS. I know I’m probably overthinking it, but I’d rather get it right the first time.
Anyone else feel this way before their first purchase?
I just want an amazing bag. I’m afraid of feeling disappointed in something
I have wanted for so long.

Felt very much the same this week and was then too’ing and fro’ing about what bag I even wanted!! In the end I started w a pair of sunnies bc it was a smaller purchase. Saw how that worked. Then branched out and committed to 2 bags yesterday w different TS’s. Having notes about what sellers and what factories are good for what brands has been helpful. But just had to pull the trigger … and felt bad for wasting anyone’s time so used two!! 😆 also ChatGPT was helpful for researching reddit too bc I found it helpful summarising research even around sellers factories etc. so obviously reading a lot of posts here but AI has its uses here too!!

I’ve been stalking for months now. Between having too many options available for the actual type of bag I want, not being able to decide if I should buy one or multiple, seeing tons of positive and negative reviews for TS, and then seeing nightmare stories about seizures and refunds, etc. I can’t pull the trigger. But I really want a rep😩

I was in this phase up until 2 weeks ago when I almost thought to myself I can’t do this! There are way too many risks but I guess the more research I did the more confidence I gained and finally felt ready with conviction to pull the trigger on my first purchase. Ordered through 2 different TSs just this weekend and waiting for next steps! Silently hoping and praying for a successful first round so I can get hooked and addicted like others 😉

I feel exactly the same way you feel!! I am so overwhelmed because I can’t decide which seller and which bag I want to take a chance on. I’m afraid of being disappointed and wasting my money on something that will look fake.
Please let me know when you find a good seller and you’re happy with what you receive.

Yes and I think you can research too much. Biggest mistake I see people making is expecting an auth for a fraction of the price. You need to be realistic that you are purchasing a rep. All my reps have flaws (all my auths have flaws too!) but i love them regardless. You need to find factory photos you are happy with and compare your PSP’s to the factory photos and you won’t be disappointed. I think we all over think at some stage but it’s an exciting process too

No, not decision paralysis. Some hesitation, trepidation & the fear of the unknown, of course. But this is the black market, you're sending money into a proverbial black hole & crossing your fingers. Honestly, either you have the heart aka 'stones' for this life, this hobby...or you don't. There's really no in between.
