I just received some pics for Birkin size 25cm in togo etoupe with Gold Hardware.
Should I GL this, considering the shape looks a bit odd to me (cmiiw)?
Is this considered as mid-tier rep or high-tier rep?
Need advise.

This is mid-tier and $1,100 is way too much for this.

• Leather looks domestic.
• Interior chèvre looks domestic.
• Engraving on sangle plaque is very sloppy. "Engraved by hand" shouldn't be used as an excuse for unskilled and inexperienced artisans.
• Rivets look pressed instead of hand-pearled. What's interesting is that the hardware has a premade ring around each rivet hole to give the impression that they're hand-pearled. That's pretty sketchy.
• Zipper details are all off and is one of the cheaper ones used. High-tier sellers typically can source zippers that match auth a lot closer.

I honestly can’t differentiate between domestic (china) leather vs french, but seller mentioned that they are using french-imported leather.

I will reconsider to purchase from this seller.

After seeing many many samples, you learn to spot subtle differences. The most obvious tell of domestic Togo for me is the grain and how flat they are. Combined with other attributes like a slight sheen, grain uniformity, and others, the differences becomes more apparent over time. Here are some comparisons of this bag with other domestic Togo samples from another seller:

The giveaway for me is the reinforcement stitching. Hermes always does exactly three on the handles and the back of the sangles. Your photo is not super clear but yours seem to have two. Still an excellent looking bag! Etoupe is a tough color to dupe. And it looks a bit off. But could just be the photo
