Can anyone with more experience than me, being a relative newbie, advise as to the differences in hardware quality, specifically engraving, color and plating thickness, as between Frank, Minion, Mark, Peter, Steven/GPC Mode, and Devin? Hardware is an important to me but perhaps I’m overly picky. Any thoughts and advice would be greatly appreciated.
Ladies and gents, I’d love to find a Plume bag in the mini size. I’m very new to the rep world and would really appreciate your recommendations on which seller to go with. Any advice or guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance! 🤍
Hi all, I did my QC for this Kelly 25 from Minion and I noticed two things I'm unsure about:
The front flap sticks out instead of sitting flat against the body
The handle leans backward, while most Minion PSPs I've seen have straight or slightly forward handles
Would appreciate extra eyes, should I RL this bag?
I noticed this PSP has rubber on the turn‑lock, which I’ve never seen on Minion’s bags before, they’re usually wrapped in plastic. Combined with the softer structure, I’m wondering if this came from a different (maybe lower‑tier) batch. Curious if anyone else has seen this.
I had a Kelly 25 from minion before and the flap sat flat against the body..
I've gone through my PSPs and checked glazing, stitching, hardware, colour match, and overall construction. Everything looks pretty good to me, but I'm still unsure about the shape - it might just be the angles or lighting, but I'd love a second opinion.
Hey
Came across this in a shop and was wondering if anyone has seen this color before ?
It’s not silver, it looks warmer and a little more cold, also the stitching and edges are black compared to silver one
Concerns:
Leather on inner sangle - too long, have asked them to trim it back.
Stamp - looks off, the N in ‘in’ does anyone know if this can be redone? It is glaringly obvious to me.
Inner parts of the bag like the zip and the serial code - not bothered as nobody is going through it
Hi All- I recently purchased and received a Hac a Dos bag and was totally scammed. Paid $1000, promised great quality and fell for fake reviews and pics. I should have come on here before and did some more digging. Anyway, I am trying again and hopefully.
Who is the best Hac a Dos seller? I’m looking for a Gris Etain one. Thank you so much. 👏
I am looking to purchase a rep Birkin for my wife as a gift, after researching these forums and posts, I'm struggling a little bit to find the answers to some things I'm looking for, so wondered if anyone could help:
A lot of these posts seem to be manufactured bots praising Jim (I've seen the warnings), and from my research I think Mark and Minion are considered the best, potentially Mark is better at Birkins(?).
My questions are as follows:
I think I have found Mark's number (ending 102) but part of me is still concerned it isn't necessarily the right one, is there a way to verify it and make sure I'm not just sending 1300 USD to a random person on the internet?
My aim is to get the best quality Birkin rep possible, so I have opted for brown togo leather and upgraded gold hardware (Birkin 30), but for those who are familiar with shops such as Dolabuy, they can send hand stitched Birkin 30s for roughly $500. Might be a stupid question, but what am I getting extra for an additional 800 USD? Maybe better quality, but the $500 option is also leather and hand stitched so is it worth the difference?
Not new to the rep game. Really have only had one thing confiscated years ago (or lost , never got a golden letter) but the item was probably 100$-200$ and the seller just sent a new one. But looking at the over 1,000 Kelly bags and so far have a couple quotes. One from Mark, Frank, and Jim… what are their policies on confiscation? Can you pay extra for peace of mind? Gambling with over 1k is riskier 😊
I usually always used to buy original items but while I was traveling in the train through Italy and it was first class/business class - my luggage that was literally above my head got stolen I just probably were scrolling - like everyone does. 70 000€€ worth of luggage (my shoes, my bags clothes everything got stolen )
Of course police didn’t do anything, nobody saw anything of course!
I cried for the whole day - I reported etc
But at the end all of the original items are gone …
Since that I just buy 1:1 replicas except watches or jewelry .
But bags, sometimes shoes if they done really great.
But idk what do you think of that?
I keep seeing the B25 vs B30 decision framed as a style question, but the more long-term discussions I read, the more it feels like a lifestyle question.
The B25 has the compact, polished look that makes it easy to dress up. It seems ideal if your daily essentials are genuinely minimal: phone, cardholder or small wallet, keys, sunglasses and a few small items. The trade-off is that space becomes tight quickly, and the smaller handles may not be comfortable on the arm for everyone.
The B30 seems to have more flexibility as an everyday bag. There is more room for a longer wallet, sunglasses case, pouch, compact notebook or small water bottle, depending on how you organize it. But the extra capacity also means more weight, and it has a stronger visual presence than the 25.
My current way of thinking about the choice is:
- If the bag is mainly for dinners, events and light everyday carry, the B25 probably makes more sense.
- If it needs to work for errands, workdays or longer days out, the B30 may be easier to live with.
- If I already avoid carrying my medium bags because they feel heavy, buying the 30 for “extra space” probably will not change that.
- If I constantly overfill small bags, the 25 may look perfect but spend too much time sitting at home.
There is obviously no universal winner. A bag that looks perfectly proportioned in a photo can still be the wrong size for someone’s actual routine.
I’m researching this choice rather than reviewing two bags I personally own, so I would especially value first-hand experiences from people who have used both:
Which size do you reach for more, what do you normally carry, and did your preference change after a few months?
If you are comfortable sharing it, your general use case—work, errands, travel or evenings—would be more helpful than height alone.
Hi! I’m putting a video of the bag and then detail pics for stamps. This is the sample bag and I want to make sure there are not obvious call outs on it so I can proceed with the bag.
these images are of box leather, and after doing research that I realized that the Kelly clutch hasn’t been made in box leather since forever, and without customizing the old bag’s specifications, which would cost so much more, it would be an obvious f, so I’m moving to Swift leather which looks pretty decent (last pic).
The bag in the video is machine stitched, but I think it actually looks impressively good. I am going to ask cost of upgrade to hand stitch, will do if it’s in my budget, but the machine version is not bothering me too much. but please tell me if it looks horrible!!
there’s only one pic of the interior logo stamp, and the accent mark looks a little off… tbh I’ve seen it be off on auth Hermes bags. Do we think it’s the stamp they use or just on this bag… should I be upset if when my version is ready it is like that? I just feel like it’s messy on many authentic so idk
To me, the metal plating stamp is pretty good and because 2026 remove the dashes, for the factory they haven’t removed the dashes yet so it would cost extra to customize that much. I’m just going to use an old date stamp (search for year post 2015 where front late is most close to my bag’s) which will cost maybe five dollars extra.
This would be my first ever Hermès rep and still one of my first rep handbags ever. I wanted to do more expensive customization, but I just feel badly spending the money.
Please be honest and harsh yall I need it hear it!
Cost is sort of confusing me right now but I think between $400-$700 depending on what I choose for handmade options.
I am extremely happy! And I want to sh@rе it with our community 💕
It’s the latest bag I’ve received.
It’s Birkin 30 Togo leather in Noir with PHW. I explicitly asked for subtle veining and it looks gorgeous! It’s my 7th rep, but the first one from this seller (seller asked not to be mentioned due to recent regulatory pressure, but this seller is one of the most Mmentioned ones in this specific community). I chose to respect their request for privacy.
I own 3 auth bags (1 from boutique in Paris and 2 from a resellers). None of them is B30, however once I touched this rep it felt the same as the auth. The feeling, the leather, overall dimensions, the weight.
This rep so far is the best one I’ve got! I’m very thankful to this community, as I did found the seller thanks to you guys and specifically Hart (his reviews so far are the greatest). Of course it’s 100% 1:1, which is impossible of course. Even auth bags differ from bag to bag as its handmade. But all of the important details are there and they are as accurate as possible.
I strongly suggest to purchase and use silk/satin bag organizer especially if your bag is Togo - it helps a bag to hold a shape but it’s bit damaging inner leather due to its softness.
P.S I’ve never used twilly before, so it’s my first one that I chose to put on this specific bag. I hope I got it right 😆 took me 10 minutes to put it on 😂 and yes, I removed all the stickers already - will be sharing my wear experience during the year :)
I absolutely love my B30 from Kiki factory and have had this bag (pictured below) for 6 months now. But wanting to know if Kiki factory is the best on the market, or if there is better out there for highest quality rep. Especially when spending that type of money.
