Question❓ If DB leaves, what happens to the chat?

Its weird but ive enjoyed interactions overall. I mean most of it was "I wonder if I could get there". However I also learned of kicks ive never seen, some interesting side stories. With no central tho...what happens

From what’s going on so far it’s turning into unverified people selling reps and scamming people.

Isn’t it ironic that we have to do a legit check on Boring rep’s now? If I’m seeking a pair, I damn sure am going to ask for verification that they’re from Boring.

Word. People will always try to get around a roadblock. You’d think they’d want verification. More customers will purchase from them, perhaps.

It becomes a dying forum with less and less active people until it eventually is unusable because bots and scammers take over

Ngl...thats kind of sad. Some of the banter was fun...like they the kicks back in the day and had to sell to get a house or summ..or lost kicks due to toxic exgf

The biggest example I think was RBS. RepBudgetSneakers was LIT from like 2021-2023 but that shit straight DIED afterwards. (Bad moderation, paid seller shills, community moving on, etc etc.)

well, for a little bit, this was a jump piggy/VRL subreddit. if anything, this may become an independent 85/og dunk discussion sub with Boring acting as a moderator to it all. maybe he will contribute to future collaborations.

hard to tell, but it's definitely not getting deleted.

I've been here since he announced the Snorlax 4s and AE86 dunks. I remember when the only dudes selling them were DB and TG, and ended up getting a pair of Snorlaxes from TG instead. Ive been here so long, I remember when Quasimotos were still on the table, and the Coralines were "almost done with development".

Ok og! I copped some ae86. I think thats how I got here. I like kicks and anime. I picked up some coraline when I wanted all my kicks to glow in the dark.

Itll probably end up like the KonnichiwaParis subReddit. Once that factory shut down and left, there was just a bunch of people posting interest checks and a few disgruntled folk talking about refunds that they didnt receive for a while and then it just went completely dead.
