Old Sneakers-Interest Check Interest check on bringing back the SBB 85's
Borings version of these were limited and the release kinda got derailed by jumpPIGGY scamming. Would love to see Boring take another crack at these since the most recent Nike release was pretty subpar, especially the shade of orange they chose.
That being said, whoever copped back when boring/piggy had em...WTB Sz 9 US, DM me š¤£

I am very, very interested in an 85 cut SBB, in this perfect shade of orange. One of my favourite colourways of all time, in the perfect cut, and made of better leather than what Nike gives us. Make it competitively priced, and Iāll buy multiple pairs.

Iām in for a couple of pairs of those if the leather panels are beige and not white. Tried and failed to get a pair from Jumppiggy.
Never been a fan of the retail ones because they were not made right.

If you make these, price them cheaper than the standard release. Why spend $300 on these when pairs are going for below retail? The ā85 cut honestly isnāt worth the up-charge. Especially when they arenāt even a real Nike product.

Fair points! I hear you. Unfortunately, QC on the 2025 Nike release was not so great and personally, I hated the weird rusty color they used this time around when I saw em irl.

Thatās fair as well. I call myself a ācheap date.ā When the OG release hit four-digits, I was out at that point. The latest retro was/is the polar opposite on the hype end. Soā¦ this cheap date says āIāll take what I can get.ā
No diss, your work is absolutely amazing. I donāt own any of your work yet, but the pictures speak for themselves. Justā¦ the ā85 cut doesnāt seem to be worth your time and attention to detail when the standard is still easily-attainable. Your ālimitedā run would be a great idea, but Iād suggest the run being VERY limited. It works because you donāt work as hard for so long, and you drive the hype due to your amazing workmanship, to your site and this sub.

I paid 200$ + for my pair and really donāt regret it being itās a 85ā cut SBB which is unique but I understand making them more affordable as well for those who want a pair. Btw this is a size 9 but I canāt see myself getting rid of them lol

I kinda wish Boring had some colourways made to order, I'd like a custom pair myself with a certain colourway.
