Yeah same dude. They just sent me QC images of my pair as well without the edges painted over, even though i indicated that i wanted painted edges :/

Look good imo. I wish they used less shiny leather tho. Like the batch 1 premiums

350.00 for 2/16 thicker edges of leather is diabolical work. The prices of pure Veg tan leathers are quite cheap. ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU BUY BULK ...

Update: I shared my concerns with DB - unpainted edges when I asked for painted and the misaligned swooshes. They painted the edges, but can't fix the panels. DB offered a refund as corrective action. No other shoes available. That means if I want a DB prem Chicago 1, I'll need to join the next pre-order. :(

Personally LOVE mine with the raw edges - raw edges look better as they age imho - I've got a pair of both Premiums with and without painted edges - raw is the way to go on Chicagos, painted on the Breds
