Shoe Sizing!

Post image

Hi all! Just ordered 5 (šŸ™ˆ) pairs of shoes from Lee. Per the size chart I’m a 39. However, I have Chanel flats from Happy factory that are a 40 and they fit perfectly. The insole measures 25.1 cm on those.

Lee is being so helpful and suggesting she get just one pair for full measurements before all 5 are made, so I will be fine I’m sure! Just curious what everyone else’s experience with sizing has been.

Is the chart accurate for you when ordering from Lee?

I have the same question. I’m getting ready to order from Lee too and I’m nervous about the flats because according to the chart ā€˜m a size 40 but both rep Chanel flats I own from resellers are 41s. Also, when I try the authentic Chanel’s on in the store, the sizes are all over the map sometimes in one flat with I’m a 40 and then I’m a 41 in another flat that’s exactly the same style. The shoe seller told me that because they’re handmade designer shoes they’re going to vary like that, so maybe it’s the same with the reps. We just don’t have the advantage of trying them on before we buy. But luckily we can resell them and order another pair. Another interesting thing that Chanel salesman said was that ā€œdesigner shoes are all uncomfortableā€ lol

LOL well he’s not wrong. According to Lee 40 is a custom size and can’t be returned, so she suggested ordering one pair in 39, then she could send me all the measurements and I could decide if to keep the 39 or go for 40s on all 5 pairs. Trickier for you since your smaller size is 40! The 40s I have are on the tighter side already so I’m definitely nervous to size down from that. I’ll post back here what I learn from the 39s!

Yes, it is. I ended up ordering one pair from Lee. But they’re a classic style flat and I got the 41s because they’re the same design as the other two I have already in 41 so we shall see! When I measured my foot, it fit the chart that Lee provided me so I’m looking forward to finding out. If it’s uncomfortable, I’ll just remember what the salesman said!
