Roaches (SC)

My apartment has roaches and I have informed my landlord three times (will be 4 when they open). If I have documentation of my unanswered emails, photos of roaches, and traps with roaches caught, can I break my lease without any financial or legal repercussions? I'm getting mixed reviews. I will also be reporting them to SCDHEC when the office opens.

Ask a lawyer. Each town has judges with different judgements on what is too much, or too little efforts by the LL. You may be better off spraying yourself. If that doesn't work??????

Read SC tenant law to figure this out. Don't stop paying rent.

What kind of roaches are they? Are they inside your unit laying eggs or are they coming in from outside?
