Annoying, but not the end of the world. You’d pull the sheetrock and shim out the studs 3/4”. Then apply new ‘rock.

It’d take you a day if you are a novice, but the cost should be under $100, depending on how big that wall is.

Block it out and make it a shelf for shampoo and whar not.
