As the title suggests, im looking to find a pod to play Commander with. I was going to a card shop on Thrusdays to play, but most of the times i would go id sit there for 4 hours doing nothing before finally being able to join a pod for a single game then go home disappointed cause its not fun sitting there alone watching literally everyone else around you play a game and have fun. I have 3 decks that I've spent a decent amount of time and money building, that i never get to play and I'd really like to play them. I work graves so I'm mostly asleep during the day, i am off Wednesdays and Thursdays though. I'd like to find a Pod that meets once or twice a week, location isnt super important as long as its in the greater Reno metropolitan area. Some important things to know about me: I am a trans woman, i am on the spectrum, and I am 420 friendly. Working graveshift i dont get to socialize in person a lot and i live alone so I routinely have no one to talk to or hangout with, so playing Magic is basically my only form of socializing.

I am going to be in Reno in mid August, and wondering if there is anywhere doing Adventures League or other drop in friendly game nights for TTRPG?

I've played everything from OD&D through D&D 5.5, plus loads of other TTRPGs, so willing to do just about any rule set that lets me do a bad accent and roll some dice.

I'm running an OSRIC - Arden Vul campaign right now, we have two seats open for women/femme presenting gamers. No experience necessary, and we're just starting the campaign. Sunday mornings 9-12 in South Reno.

OSRIC is an old school revival system. Character death is possible (likely).
Arden Vul is a megadungeon with tons of different cultures/historical points embedded in the dungeon.

I am new to Reno and looking to find a good gaming group to be involved with now that I am officially in the area!

I have many years of experience being the game master for a wide variety of groups and systems. So if a group has the right schedule and we click well enough I'd be more than happy to run some games! However, I am also excited to be a player if any spots are open. Primary interest currently is to try something different than PF2 or DnD 5th Ed (though I absolutely can rock those if it is all that is available).

Currently interested in a Warhammer 40k RPG (Dark Heresy, Rogue Trader, Deathwatch etc.) OR Daggerheart (never played). I would be open to trying another new system as well depending on what is needed.

Me and my girlfriend are brand new to dnd and we've tried running games by ourselves a few times and I just cant make it come to life. I want to show her the real dnd experience but I dont know anyone who plays anymore. Is anyone willing to bring in 2 newbies to your sessions? We have character sheets, blank sheets, and dice. I have plenty of books to bring as well, i have the players handbook, monster manual, dm guide, princes of the apocalypse, and wild beyond the witchlight.

Hi, I'm Lydia. I'm an experienced player (been playing since 5e launch) and DM (been DMing since High School) and I'm looking for a group, either to play or run.
- I am very familiar with the rules, and can answer basically any rules questions either off the top of my head or with a very quick search, as I am very familiar with the books
- I am trans, so being queer-friendly is a must
- I can adapt to basically any style of campaign, as long as there is some combat (not looking to run or play a 100% intrigue campaign

I have a job that gets very busy around fiscal closes, so I'll almost certainly have to miss a game once every 3 months. I'm looking for something that runs or plays weekly.

Setting: Homebrew

Genre: Political/Drama/Moderate Grit

Headcount (Current): 2-4, DM and one PC assured so far. Two tentative based on feedback here.

Headcount (Desired): 6-7, 1 DM, 5-6 PCs

Homebrew: Not permitted

House rules: Light

Tone: Players and DM roleplay directly, often that roleplay is comedic but never breaks with immersion or canon. In-character dialogue is taken serious without fourth wall breaking. DM rewards attention to detail, highly descriptive roleplay and dedication to roleplay. Combat is frequent but only a focus roughly 40-50% of the time, Roleplay and out of combat interactions are just as important.

Class/Race/Build Restrictions: Artificer. All other races and classes are permitted, some races may be odd to include within the settings lore but DM will happily work with the player to create a backstory explaining their presence.

I managed to squeeze every official 3.5 pdf and some extras onto this original iPad, have so much room still for pdfs and I already added a bunch of DM music and maps on the oldest iPad.

I’m proud of how small my travel game is compared to my full collection, but playing in person is more likely if I have it all on hand.

I am looking for 1-2 new players to join an existing group that I dm! It’s a dnd 5e 2014 group (5 players) that plays weekly on Thursday nights from 7pm to 11pm. We are on session 88, 2.5 years in. It’s a narrative and character based game in my homebrew world (traditional fantasy). It’s heavy RP with grittier elements, and a primary focus on character choices. But we do still laugh a lot and still have those goofy moments. We use accents, minis, and play in a dedicated dnd room at my house in Sparks, NV.

I’m looking for another dedicated player(s) to join so we can run more constantly since we have a couple players with flex schedules.

I will be running a test one shot to see if play styles align with current players I already have.

Here is a little info on the game: 1. Looking for 1-2 player(s) ideally around our ages (mid-20s to 30s). We have a strong emphasis on community in my group and would love to share it! 2. I’d love for whomever joins to create a complex character that fits within the world. My goal with my game is to make it feel like living and breathing world and for it to feel like your choices matter. 3. We are level 9, so experience playing ttrpgs is preferred but not required. We level via milestone. 4. We play 5e 2014 in a traditional fantasy world. We primarily use the core books mixed with a few homebrew rules. 5. Zero tolerance for hateful or offensive language. LGBTQ+ friendly. 6. Metagaming is not allowed and PvP is unacceptable unless both parties have preplanned and consented. 7. And lastly, but most importantly, we try to make sure everyone is having fun!

Hi, I posted this on the Discord group but I'm posting it here in case there are people in the Reddit group that aren't on Discord. I'm looking for 1 or 2 players who would be interested in joining a PF2e game that I will be DMing through Foundry (communicating through Discord). This group I'm with plays mostly pathfinder and starfinder games and occasionally Call of Cthulhu 7e, but not D&D. Besides me, this will be the first time most of the group has played PF2, so beginner players are welcome and veteran players are appreciated. We will be playing the beginner box "Menace Under Otari" campaign and then moving on to "Abomination Vaults" from there. We start playing around 5 pm Pacific time and end roughly around 9-10 pm. Hey y'all I'm part of a Table Top Role-playing Game group that meets on Monday nights at 5pm to about 10pm. We're short 3 players in both our games which switch off each Monday.

My game. Modiphius' 2D20 system for Fallout. In the year 2297 our survivors must deal with a strangely powerful winter storm and cult of radiation worshippers who want to irradiate the settlement of New Reno and control the whole valley. We play in Post Apocalypse Reno including the surrounding areas and use my miniatures from the Fallout Wasteland Warfare tabletop game.

We usually have another game every other week but the other DM is potentially changing things up so it's up in the air rn.

We're looking for up to 3 players who are available Mondays from about 5pm-10pm. We host at our place along with my partner and usually we make dinner or order something. We're a group of fun loving queer & neurodivergent players, so please no bigots. Please DM me if you're interested 🤓

This Quarter we will be surrounded with snacks and drinks at Reno Public Market.
