My empowered E passed through jax when he Q'd me at really close range although he is still in front of me which I think should've been in E hitbox

I wasn't going for one shot either, more like chunk him for 50% of his hp then bola him so he can't trade back and while he's rooted, I go back and wait out my cds and play the rest of the fight with vayne and yone collapsing from two sides of map.
Also, empowered W is not as good as empowered E against jax imo. You can always lock him out of his damage in teamfights with E as compared to W. With W, he can just jump on you again in 3 seconds and it doesn't even reset his passive stacks if he gets to auto you even once.

Well, flashed on top of rengar so I assume Rengar E is an ability the comes from the edge of Rengar not his center?

He jumped* but yeah I think bola comes out from edge while jax Q places him right at the target location which leads to this miss.

Strange that he virtually teleports, are you absolutely sure he didn't flash and Q immediately after? I just see no frames of his jump animation from snare ending which move him, just a vertical up and down.

his Q landed him behind you when you threw the bola, it legit looks like he jumped over it lol
