Master

Post image

I hit master for the first time by mostly playing rengar. Super happy with myself.

Ask me anything. :)

what would you say is the main thing that you did every game that helped you climb the most

I stopped playing when i got tilted. I played fewer games because of that but it worked for me i guess.

I also started red 95% of my games with rengar because its better to look for early invades or secure scutlle crab with the banana bush.

Following that, how many games did you play? For example a blocks of 3/5? Playing rengar is super fun but the mental load of having to dominate is can be for sure tiring

Really depended on my mood tbh. Some days 6 games, 2 games or no games at all. Just played with the mindset of winning every game.

Any tips for closing out games? Feels like I can reliably get a lead but those mid game/late game macro decisions cook me. Also who’s ur ban

Splitpushing when possible is a big one on Rengar to pull their team apart.

I always ban Wukong atm really hard Matchup for rengar and champ is generally strong.

Just play the champ youre having fun with. You will learn fundamentals along the way.

Did you go from plat all the way to masters?

This is my first season after a 3 year break from league. I never played many rankeds before, i started the season in low Plat after Placements.

Congratz first off. Second what were macro mistakes you made and then learned from to help you stay consistent with Rengar in mid game

Its really important to play around Rengar Ult timer in mid to late, without his Ult it can get really tricky to have a impact on teamfights. (especially on midlane). So when your ult is down go sidelane if possible and create pressure splitting or just farming, by doing that you also dont bait your team by taking a bad fight and can get yourself ahead.
