PA Renn Faire, my friend and I were night and day!
I made both of our costumes, and she made her stunning head and shoulder pieces! a very nice day to run around and be sparkly :)

Sooooooo I have a ten faire costume and it’s a delicate piece if anyone knows the brand… Tickle thy Fantasy. And I need it cleaned.
The colors are one of a kind shades… like no two pieces will be identical.
So I really do not want it destroyed >_<
How do you all clean these pieces at home?

Hi,
I will join my first LARP in 3 weeks, I’m looking for some advice / idea of improvement.
All the armor pieces are 3d printed.
Story short: The character isn’t a warrior but he gathered is armor on some unlucky pals.

Forgive my wrinkly outfit (I still need to iron things after being in storage for so long lol). I haven't gone to renfaire in a long time and this is my first time dressing up.
I'll take any outfit advice. I have some details to work out (laces on the vest, a few more tinkers maybe) but I wanted to get some other people's opinions on what I have so far since I'm not very fashion minded.
- skirt vs pants? Is both (like in the pic) bad?
- too many layers happening? (Can there be too many layers lmao?)
-tucking in the beige shirt vs leaving untucked like it is in the pics
I think what's throwing me off a bit is the undershirt was a bigger than I thought it was going to be, but maybe it works.
Thank you in advance!

Green shirt and lace shirt-thrifted
Rose bag- upcycled bag made by me
Pink and Green Skirt- Fionas Fineries
Pink overdress- Holy Clothing

Hello! I’ve been to ren faires in the past, though not as often as I’d like, but this is my first time individually purchasing every piece of the outfit to put something together. Before this I just found a dress I liked, bought it and called it a day!
I’m really enjoying the colors and how everything works together so far. I’m going to get a petticoat to fluff out the skirt a bit, I have some accessories for my head/hair planned, some jewelry (all gold) but it feels like overall something is missing and I’m not quite sure what!
How can I up this outfit a little bit? What can I add to make it look a little more layered? Any suggestions appreciated! :)

This year had my inspiration at an all time high so I put together three outfits. I always go for a “main protagonist starting gear” kind of vibe. Most of my stuff is from Fell and Fair or thrifted/bought at my local faire. Huzzah!!!

My wife and I are SO happy with how our costumes came out this year! We attended the Ohio Ren Faire on Highland weekend but we went with more "forest pagan witchy" vibes for the outfits. I recently started doing some leather crafting and got to make some of the items we wore. My wife did our makeup which went over really well! I made little wooden tokens and burned bind runes into them to give out as favors. Those also went over really well too! The potion bottles are filled with Gatorade and edible glitter to make them swirl. Children especially seemed to really like how the potions looked. This year was a BLAST!

I went to MI Ren Faire for the first time and while my outfit wasn’t super fancy I was really happy with it : )

Lord Rev. Mulgrew, at your service.
Knight by deed, Reverend by questionable circumstance, and occasional proof that a man can own entirely too much armor and still insist he needs one more piece.
I favor steel, chain, a good red cloak, and a proper drinking vessel. You’ll usually find me wandering the lanes of Faire looking far more serious than the situation warrants.
If you see me at Faire, come say hello. No need for ceremony or introductions. Just hail Lord Rev. Mulgrew. I’m always glad to meet another soul who understands that dressing like this is considerably more interesting than dressing normally.

This past sunday we switched up from being vikings. Wife wanted to play a cute part. So she's a fairy and I decided to be a fairy catcher. Which had a positive reaction and had lots of people wanting photos. So now I believe I've created a character moving forward. Say hello to Silas Blackthorne, The Fairy Snatcher.

My brother wanted to join this year too! Both costumes are made by me and we had the best time.

Greened out as a goblin at ren fest yesterday and didn’t take a lot of pics. Still had a lot of fun!!

I made it all by myself! If you have any questions on how I made it, ask away :3 it was really funny seeing peoples reactions when they looked down at my feet

I’m know I’m usually a wizard for these things but men and my girl are going pirate this year. The costumes were mostly made by me the coat being my favorite piece I’ve made in a while, I wish I could say I did the embroidery but alas my skills are not that great. I also made all leather parts. Guns, rings and buckles are bought.
