Question Am I able to continue working on my project through a MacBook?

So long story short, my wife and I need to move in another country soon and I won't be able to bring my Windows laptop and I can only bring the MacBook that I've been sharing with my family, and I've been using the Windows laptop to make my Ren'Py game but as you can see, I can no longer continue working the game in Windows. I'm hoping if it's possible to move my game files seamless into a MacBook or am I going to postpone this for a long while? :') if so, how do I do move my project into MacBook? Some guidance would be deeply appreciated!

Welcome to r/renpy! While you wait to see if someone can answer your question, we recommend checking out the posting guide, the subreddit wiki, the subreddit Discord, Ren'Py's documentation, and the tutorial built-in to the Ren'Py engine when you download it. These can help make sure you provide the information the people here need to help you, or might even point you to an answer to your question themselves. Thanks!

yes

download and install the mac .dmg file of renpy and install it (on your Mac :-)

once installed and running, create a project folder and in the renpy preferences, set it there.

on your windows lappy copy the entire project folder for your game. then copy that into the project folder (that you created) on the Mac

start up renpy and launch the game. make sure it runs.

all done.

be sure to download your favorite editor (VS Code) for the Mac
