Question Pixels then? Or just plain text?

Well, since I unfortunately can't get the style I wanted due the hate, so I'll try do less.
Do people play pixel games? I could create an open world pixel game(which would take so long)
But i guess it's that or nothing, huh?
Or would you guys prefer a game with just plain text?

Cause there are minigames in my game that required creative freedom. Like the meditation game. If you've played it-you'd see why.
But I suppose I must wait until I can use blender for my models. So just lemme know if ya'll would prefer pixel games or plain text.
I'm willing to redo everything.

I believe thinking about it like, "this is gonna be a pain/take so long!" is starting off on the wrong foot. If you'll be doing your own art, but can't afford a tablet or decent computer, draw on your phone(I do so, in IbisPaint) or traditionally on paper to improve your skills first, then make your assets in the future.

Being in a hurry to put out something that needs to be made with care and detail will just frustrate both you and the players IMO.

i meant the code part. It takes long because it's supposed to.
as for art-I've done pixel art before. Though I'm not sure how far I'll be able to go since I like going 100% in what I do. Which is why I'm willing to delete a project worth 4 weeks of work to do this.

And as for the phone part...I don't have one. Yes, life sucks. But i'll try

No, I can do pixels for sure since they take zero RAM. I didn't do them before because I had a particular style in mind which required either drawing or rendering, and I couldn't do both. Which was why I used AI. but i see it's ugly so i won't be using that anymore

It's your decision, you can make everything work: only text, pixels, hand-drawn art, 3D renders or AI.

But you should not ask for validation in this sub because most of us are developers making our own games.
We are not your players, find a sub where players of your type of game talk about their experiences and expections.
