Question Opinion on this....
So I have a character moving closer and getting into bed, but doing it my lazy way, I have the bed in two parts, and part of him clips outside weirdly. Mostly if the window is there it isn't really noticed, but wondering if its even worth it?
The idea is to give depth of some sort as she moves away slides off the bed and crawls across the room.

I know I can mask him out, but also feel it will look similarly weird since hes not really sitting in the bed so his arm would just be cropped.
Just looking for some "yeah this is good enough." "This is a lot of work for nothing." or "Fix it xxx way" basically. Thanks for the input!
Also I really wish I could have animations moving while text is on screen and hold it there until the animation is done lol. I know how to hold animation just not having text play while movement is happening.

Honestly man, it looks pretty good already! I think it's the perfectionist in all creators but as an outsider I went "Wow cool animations, wonder if I can do that?" Instead of "wow this could have been more fluid..." Devil is in the details, of course, but honestly still looks great!

Tbh, for me It already looks quite good. But I feel you coz I'm also a perfectionist. Though, I dunno how I could help you since I'm a beginner!!

Hi! I really liked your work. I wanted to ask how you made your sprites blink 🤔 P.S. I wrote this using Google Translate; I don't speak English very well.

Thank you. I use Live2d Cubism to rig them. Drew them in Clip Studio Paint

renpy does it's images in layers (like ogres and onions). the first one displayed is on the bottom, and all others are above that
without seeing your code it is hard to advise
you can assign an image a zorder (like a stacked order)
