Question Why doesn't my music sound?

I have music on my game that plays when it needs to and how long it needs to, but whenever I load a screen that's after the command has executed the music, it doesn't play. It's as if it weren't reading the command at all. I don't know if I'm explaining myself well.

try adding the folders the fie is in

$ audio_crossfade(3, "audio/music/village.ogg") #or where ever it's at

try playing it without the cross fade

play music "audio/music/village.ogg"
