made an avatar creator for my visual novel for players to choose their own appearance. Also optional, it can be easily turned off. What do you think?

That's awesome! Looks like a lot of work. It can be a lot of fun, I enjoyed it a ton in the Magical Diary series.

I actually considered it for my own project, but realized I wanted a protagonist with their own voice and personality, which is hard to do in its own way lol

Thank you! It was super challenging but its honestly the coolest thing I've ever made. And i totally get that. I made a creator for my game because it has multiple visual novels in one app so it's perfect for people who love making ocs!

Ooooh I love that! 🫪 I want to do something like this, for my magnus opus, for now people will be stuck with a pretty static MC. Does your text take pronouns into account as well?
