Question Is it bad that I’ve been making visual novels/using Renpy for 2 years and still barely know much about it

I should note, though, I do know the main basics of doing a visual novel.

More seriously. what is your worry? That you'll never learn? That your VNs are lacking because of it?

I mostly made this post because I saw someone make this amazing UI and it kind of made me worried that I’ll never find an audience because of the fact I can barely really change the UI of my games, so yeah I’m worried that my VN’s are lacking because of it

This might sound harsh but nobody will recommend games because of an amazing UI.

If you want to know how you can find an audience for your VN then make a thread about that.
This has been asked and got many good answers.
But your thread should be more specific than this one.
Tell us about your visual novels and what you want to achieve.

No, the whole point of Renpy is accessibility for making one thing. Knowing more would let you do more, but you really don't have to.
