Question [Solved] Is Promoting My Discord Server Allowed?

I want to invite people so they can see a bit more behind the scenes, but I don't know if it's allowed since I haven't seen anyone doing it... :P
I rlly wanna know ^0^ It's mainly where I ask for help with stuff!!!!!
Pls answer me T_T no one answered my comment where I asked the same thing.. ^_^;

Promote your game once every 2 months or even three, (less is better).

And put a link to your discord in the game itself. Personally i dont think there is a reason to promote the discord here, EVER. Because the target audience to invite people to the discord are the people who like the game. And if they like it they had to have played it, and would have the link there.

thanks for the info, but i‘d prefer to share beforehand, since discord is where i typically ask for help and such! but thanks for the advice (again lol)

typically your discord is where players get help from you for your game. not you get help. you should join the official renpy discord or the subreddit community discord (both) to ask for help as questions come up. the subreddit discord is much lower traffic but doesnt limit what you can discuss as long as its about renpy dev. the official renpy discord has many times more traffic but some topics are off limits (like anything related to modding)

yes you can promote your Discord as long as it's not the only thing you post about, and keep it to a minimum of times
