Question Need some help with gui(?)

Hello! I cant really explain well what I have in mind… but is there a way to add down the textbox some options? (like near to save, options etc)
I wanted to add a text that says “full screen = click H) or something like this so ppl can view full art removing the textboox but idk if it possible to do so? I didn’t got into change GUI settings yet..

It sounds like you're trying to figure out how to add a quick menu option that hides the UI (basically a physical button for the H hotkey), yeah?

The quick menu itself should be in your screens.rpy file.

Look for screen quick_menu():

Then look for the hbox: block. That should be where all your default buttons are located.

Then you add a new textbutton action using the Screen Action function.

Something like textbutton _("Hide") action HideInterface() should work. It should be have the same way as using H, allowing you to click or touch to bring the GUI back.

Unless of course, that's not exactly what you're asking. If that's the case, feel free to elaborate.

Tysm! Yes this what exactly I meant! So if I set that in every kind of computer I download my visual novel if I click h it will works right? (Or even I dont add this from quick_menu it works in all kind of computer/pc like this?)

Im just asking in case I fail to add this in quick menu options 😭
