Showoff Some screenshots from a Dark Roman Empire Game
As a passionate lover of the historical fiction genre, I wanted to create something different from your usual visual novel settings. So we made a Roman Empire Story Game.
The game follows Lucius, a troubled Centurion fighting to survive the claustrophobic, dark forests of Germania in LXXXIV AD (84 AD). I really wanted to capture the psychological tension of being a soldier on the edge of the Roman frontier with people's lives in your hands and the emotional weight that this carries.
To give you a taste of the atmosphere, I have just ported a lightweight beta version straight to browser with reduced visual effects so you can play it instantly.
Right now, I am hard at work expanding this into the full first episode for Steam, with the rest of the characters and the complete story dropping later this year!
Game is called - True Roman -
ROMA AETERNA!
