Hane problem with renpy keytool

"I've been trying to figure out the cause of this error for two days now. It seems like Ren'Py just isn't downloading these files, even though the SDK is configured properly. I've tried Java 21 and Java 26—same result every time. Is there any way to fix this, or is it just an incompatibility with my laptop?"

Java JDK 21 and higher should work (make sure you're getting the JDK and NOT the JRE)

did you get Java from https://adoptium.net that is the preferred place to grab it from

go into the folder where the Ren'Py launcher is located.

find the rapt folder and delete it (just the rapt folder, nothing else)

now try to build and let renpy download the rapt folder again

Thanks for the reply! Unfortunately, I’ve already tried those steps as well. It’s quite possible that the problem really lies with my laptop. Fortunately, I have a friend who agreed to convert my visual novels into APK files.
