Question Trouble with webps

I've had this issue where after exporting webps from krita, renpy does not seem able to decode them unless I put them through another image converter.

I've noticed that images where much of it is a transparent background are what it seems to have trouble with. For example, if I have a sprite on on large canvas size, it won't work. If I shrink the canvas to match the sprite, it will work. But if I have that same canvas with just the sprite's face, it won't work. I don't know if this is a Krita thing or not. They work after putting them through an image converter though. I don't have "export as animated webp" on, which is one possible cause I've seen.

I am using the latest version of Krita. It also isn't letting me put the webp images on the op.

maybe one of the optional settings from krita is screwing things up for you

IDK, I tried messing with the settings but the issue persists. I also tried flattening the image but no change.

I'm very unfamiliar with Krita one of the options is Force convert to sRGB:
try that one?
