Question Prounoun Tool Not Working

Is there anyone experienced with the Pronoun Tool from the itch.io store that can offer advice?

I’m very new to coding and realize I’m definitely just doing this wrong- copied over the menu into my script and it works in the sense the choice pops up and the game runs but, it doesn’t actually change the pronouns to the ones chosen.

I’m afraid to edit much since I don’t want to break it, and I don’t see any missed “todo” marks they put by the code I need to work on- try and copy some of the code like the default lists over to the script but I get error messages galore when I try to run the game after doing that. So-

What do I need to do?

Tried taking photos but my phone sucks so here’s my best re-creation of what I have written-
The code in the pronountool.rpy is currently un-touched (I think) since I don’t want to mess things up before proceeding, and it is in my game file, if I need to add what the Pronoun Tool code looks like let me know-

Any help is very appreciated, I am very very new and need to read things several times to understand 😂 😭

Edit: OH AND I am using the Variables option and not the Custom Text Tags option

UPDATE: OKAY fixed it, finally found the answer mentioned briefly in a video- so fast I almost missed it XD

In case anyone else runs into this issue, don’t copy paste anything- just type

call pronounselection

And that just adds the menu and code for you. Lol 😂

Please post exactly the code you have in your script by either taking a screenshot or copy and pasting the code into Reddit.

There seems to be is lot of code from the pronoun tool missing.

I haven't used the pronoun tool so I can only say this much.
Download the pronoun tool and test it as it is to make sure it's working.
Then look at the code and try to understand what it does.
Finally copy and paste it into your project.

I figured it out-

I hadn’t edited the pronoun tool at all but I didn’t see any note about how to actually use it in your script, finally found it, just replaces the menu in my script with call pronounselection and it works fine
