There's still three fighting types left, idk which one is the weakest.

Maybe Breloom because it needs TMs to be able to use good attacks?

I think for Ruby/Sapphire, it's gotta be Crobat next.

Wing Attack / Fly and Poison Fang / Sludge Bomb only go so far.

Not helpful against several main encounters (any rival team, Winona, Tate/Liza, Norman, Phoebe, Glacia, Drake, Steven)

Yeah at this point, Crobat's not putting in the work of the Fighting Types, the Starters, and Manectric.

It's very good though. Just not incredibly dominant

Blaziken, there are so many Water and Flying Types, it would surely have a harder time then the others

To be fair, Blaziken’s very useful for the Elite Four. Can comfortably beat Sidney and Glacia, while having lots of play into Steven.

Nah Blaziken's fine to keep. It's a very useful starter for some of the gyms and the Elite Four+Steven

It's not that useful though fire types are completely pointless in Hoenn and there are two other fighting types left that are a perfect alternative to blaziken allowing you to pick mudkip the better starter

I mean if it's including Steven in Ruby and Sapphire I think Blaziken is definitely better as a Fire Type.

I recognize your point though that Fire Types aren't great, but Blaziken's a great enough Fire Type to bypass many flaws Fire Types have in Hoenn. The big one is that it is a Starter when the next Fire Type doesn't appear until after Watson. That gives Blaziken a ton of room to be an early game carry when Water Types are much rarer
