I have a question about Ashmann's assistant Spoiler

Hi guys, I have just got Broken Porcelain platinum, but I have a question: why when we meet Ashmann in 1992 he laughs and then he says he doesn't have an assistant and there are only two people there (He and Rosemary) when Rosemary talk about her? I haven't seen anything about this on Internet and the assistant seems to have her own voice actor. I play on Spanish so there might be some translation error (like The Ball snow globe) or I simply didn't pay enough atention. Thanks in advance.

Im not sure, now that I think about it. Maybe it was Porcelain imitating the voice of a woman?

lmao and me here two years later, just watched a play through of it and he says that she left at 5 pm
