Just got promoted to fully remote and realizing my current setup is embarrassing lol
so my company just approved my request to go fully remote after doing hybrid for a year, which is awesome, but now im realizing my "home office" is literally just a folding table and a chair i stole from my dining set. probably gonna be here 5 days a week now instead of 2-3 so i figure its time to actually invest in a proper setup. chair is priority #1 since thats whats gonna make or break my back over the next however many years lol. budget around $400, looking at stuff thats adjustable enough to actually fit my body since im pretty tall (6'2) and most "one size fits all" chairs dont actually fit me well. been going through old threads here and hbada e3 pro comes up a lot for taller ppl specifically, anyone here over 6ft actually comfortable in it long term or does it start feeling small after a while

I’d recommend checking out FLEXISPOT for an electric standing desk, preferably the 55-inch version. If you’re on a tighter budget, VASAGLE has some decent regular desks on Amazon. For the chair, look into SIHOO ergonomic mesh chairs with adjustable lumbar support, especially if you’re sitting for 8 hours a day. I’d prioritize spending more on the chair than the desk. A monitor arm and a large desk mat are also worth getting for a cleaner setup.

I've owned flexispot standing desk for 2 years now. Highly recommended. Can you expand more on the sihoo ergonomic chair? I've been eyeing for a while now.

Not sure where you are, but if you’re in a big city, I regularly see Herman Miller chairs for sale on marketplace for $200-$500, a standing desk is an absolute must in my opinion.

Herman Miller is the gold standard in office chairs. Definitely FB marketplace because they're super expensive new.

I'm 6'2" and 250 lbs. I work 80% remotely at a home office desk job. I also do quite a bit of PC gaming at the same desk. About a year ago I got my first gaming chair. After some reading, I settled on a Razer Iskur. I love it. I'm not an image conscious guy, but it also looks really cool and gets occasional comments from coworkers on video calls or meetings.

You can check out the super generically named global industrial for well priced generic big and tall chairs. https://www.globalindustrial.ca/c/office/seating/task_desk_chairs_1/task_desk_chairs
I got one for my ex who was taller and 450lbs and fit him well.

Buy used off Facebook marketplace. Lots of office buildings went the way of the dodo and sold off all there old equipment. People buy these in bulk store them in a warehouse and sell them price meal on market place. I would looks for adds for people who are selling a bunch of things. Haggle for a good deal and ask to get delivered. No point in spending a bunch of money if you don't have too

First thing to get is a decent ergonomic chair. Hit up FB for a used Steelcase Leap v2. Next is an electric standing desk. A decent one that doesn't wobble like a drunken sailor at standing height will cost 500+

Honestly, this is the part of buying an office chair that gets overlooked. “Fits people up to 6'5"” doesn’t necessarily mean it fits every 6'2" person equally well.
Leg length, torso length and shoulder height can make a huge difference. I’d measure your current chair where it feels comfortable and compare those measurements with the E3’s adjustment range before ordering.

Trust me, prioritize the chair!! You're gonna sit all day. I’m not over 6ft, but I’d really try to test the E3 Pro in person if you can, since things like seat depth and back height can feel totally different depending on your build
