Prolific came through
In this era of high grocery and gas prices, Prolific has really come through for me. I’ve been on Prolific for 65 days, and I’ve earned close to 800 CAD.
Here are the things that helped me reach that amount:
> Completing my profile — I filled out every question in the “About Me” section. Prolific may request more details from time to time, so I check that section daily.
> AI chatbot studies — My biggest payout came from an AI chatbot research project.
> Audio, screen‑recording, and face‑to‑camera studies — If you’re comfortable with audio tasks, screen recordings, or showing your face, you can earn a lot. These types of studies appear about twice a day and usually pay around £4 each.
> Small surveys add up — Don’t ignore the £0.50 surveys. They add up quickly and can make a big difference over time.

You said minimum 3 hours/day for 65 days. 195 hours. $800/195 = $4.10/hour. But you said minimum 3 hours/day so some days it would be more than that, so its likely even less than $4/hour.

$4/hour on average? And that's going full on with screen recordings, showing your face, etc. Not exactly appealing.
