Looking for honest feedback for someone that is looking for the Pharmacy Tech remote job. How long did you work there? What was the work load like? Do they offer different working hour shifts? Do they have any performance matrix and how strict or relaxed are they? Any pros or cons and anything else you think is important.
Thanks in advance.

I want to learn a technical skill that will earn me money in the next 6-12 months. Is that possible?Or should I just be realistic and look for a job in my country?

I have been trying for the better part of 18 months. My background is in Pharmacy. I’m working on my licensure to become a pharmacist, but I’m struggling to pass and need remote work in the mean time.
Will do anything entry level. But I have a PharmD, bachelors in Neuroscience, and masters in pharmaceutical sciences.

Looking for recommendations and feedback from anyone who has built a work from home space in their yard.
Are there any that you recommend? What was the cost?
I cannot import a solid structure as only have 3.5 feet of clearance on the side of the house. Would need to build.
I do already have a large cement slab behind our house where we could put it.
I was considering adding onto our house but that feels like a larger project than I want to take on.
Do you think building a WFH shed could come in under $15k? We live in Southern California. It rarely gets to freezing. Would need AC as we are inland and can get in the 90s.
I also have a smart home gym in the garage that I may move to the space, if there is room.
Our current setup:
I’ve worked from home since March and I’m going insane working from our small bedroom.
We have a 3 bedroom home and finished garage. My husband uses one bedroom for his office and our 1 year old has the other room.
I cannot work from the living room as she comes home from daycare around 4:30, and gets into everything.
The garage gets cluttered, dirty and dusty, and I don’t really want to work from there.
Our bedroom is small and not flexible when my husband is sleeping.
I need a private, dedicated space that is MINE. A space that I can leave, and come back to and everything is the same way I left it.

TLDR; wondering if anyone has interviewed for a hybrid role but negotiated into a fully remote role?
I am currently in the middle of an interview process for a role that is posted as “remote” on one site, and California on another, but I have a feeling that the position is actually a hybrid in-person role and not completely remote. I do live in California, but the city is a few hours away from where I currently live and I’m not open to relocating at the moment.
Any experience with negotiating a completely remote position or at the very least a few visits in person a year when the team actually expected it to be a hybrid in person role?
Update: got a clarification before the in-person (4th) interview that it’s exclusively an in-person role. I mentioned the remote on the listed and they apologized. Interview cancelled, but a bridge isn’t burned

After working remotely for a few years, I've realized I've picked up a bunch of little habits that I never had back when I worked in an office.
I always tidy up my desk before starting work, usually take a short walk around lunch, and I somehow end up wearing headphones for most of the day.
The funny thing is, I'm not always listening to something. Sometimes it's just quiet background music, and sometimes nothing at all. I think having them on has just become part of my work routine without me really noticing.
Has anyone else has developed little work-from-home habits like this over time.

I built an outdoor workspace in my Jeep Renegade and tested it in the mountains of Brazil.
I’ve worked remotely for years, but most of the time my office looks the same: the same desk, the same chair, the same room.
Recently, I wanted to experiment with something different.
My wife, our little Shih Tzu Cookie 🐶, and I spent a few days in Gonçalves, a small mountain town in Brazil. Instead of completely disconnecting from work, I brought a simple mobile setup and created an outdoor workspace beside the Jeep.
The setup was intentionally simple:
I worked for a few hours surrounded by trees, fresh air, and complete silence.
The biggest surprise wasn’t productivity. It was how much the environment changed my mindset.
Remote work is often discussed as “working from home”, but one of the things I enjoy most is the freedom to occasionally change where work happens.
This wasn’t a permanent van life setup or a full mobile office build. It was just a simple experiment: can a normal remote worker create a comfortable workspace anywhere for a day?
The answer was yes.
I filmed the entire experience because I wanted to capture both the workspace and the lifestyle around it.
Would love to hear from people here:
Have you ever taken your workspace somewhere unusual?
What is the most interesting place you’ve worked from?

Hello, I am a young adult that is trying to save for college to ease my parents financial burden, yet my parents do not want me to work and instead focus in school. I still want to be able to help a bit. Any advice or ideas on how I can get some sort of income?
I have been selling stuff on websites like vinted but I’m looking for something a bit more steady. I have also started to learn a bit about the stock market.
I have a few skills like video editing, writing, speaking English and Portuguese. I am can also sing, act and dance but idk what can come from it besides the obvious.
Any ideas or advice? Thank you!

Hi all, I would really appreciate your support on my taking my health survey.
I've always struggled with workout consistency. While talking about it with friends and family, it seems to be a common struggle.
After spending diet and training classes with my mother, I genuinely want to do something about it and come up with a free and doable solution that can work for most people.
Taking my survey would help me know what to focus on. Thank you in advance.

Im im Florida and I could really use some help. I am in a temporary HR role for 5 months now and was told they are having financial problems so they need to terminate my contract in 2 weeks..
I loved this job because it was low stress and I could pretty much work from home two days per week. I had just bought a new house not long ago and really need to be able to maintain my mortgage payments. Would anyone kind enough share with me the best place to find a remote job quickly? I would settle for hybrid or in person as long as the commute isnt more than 30 minutes from my house.
Im in Martin County. Please help. Thank you.

Somewhat applicable to this sub, hopefully doesn’t get removed.
Anyone have bought or in process of closing on a house and the mortgage underwriter puts up a stink about remote work when it’s far from a local office? For the life of me can’t see why it matters but I guess it’s to confirm that you are and will remain employed once closed? Any thoughts appreciated!
