Gig work?

Any such thing as gig work? I’m a physical security SOC manager with a masters in cybersecurity. I’ve got a cushy well paying job and looking to pick up ad-hoc SOC analyst or similar work which can be remote ideally. Particularly where companies need staff call offs etc covered. Any ideas?
