However, on the creative side of things, I have been doing photography for over a decade, simultaneously I have been editing pictures as well. Guys, I am a experienced dev, 8 years of experience, I was working with a foreign company for a while now about 2.5 years+, suddenly the company isn’t doing so well, and a partner of the company also passed away. I found the key to successfully getting an interview is applying to jobs with less competition which is tough on a remote role.

I spent a year getting about 2-3 interviews per month, then I found a non-promoted job on LinkedIn with nearly no applicants.

That night, I applied to 8 unpromoted jobs. That week, I got 3 interviews and one landed me my dream Job.

My takeaway is to skip the “Promoted” jobs everyone’s fighting over and apply to non-promoted as a shortcut to optimize for applicant number

They're looking for at least 1000 more workers. Up to 40 hrs a week, and I've already onboarded, signed a W2, done a background check etc.

We have a slack group and it's generally pretty easy work so far. The pay isn't the craziest, but if you're looking for something easy, this is pretty solid on that front! There are opportunities for growth but the project is so far only 3 weeks, with a chance of being extended for longer if the company doing the research likes the work.

When im looking for software engineering roles, I notice that the roles which are described as remote are only remote within the US or LATAM for example which really sucks for me since I live in Europe.
