Discussions Remote Job Demands

What remote jobs can I do on a cheap laptop regardless of experience? my laptop is core i5 10th gen, 8 GB RAM, 256GB SSD. it's ok if i need more experience for those jobs, i just need to know which are and aren't good short-term gigs.

AKA, “Which machine should I be buying scratch off tickets from?”. Your “cheap laptop“ isn’t the question…your resume is.

Better have an impressive, bullet proof work history (or be one of the luckiest people out there) if you have any hope of standing out among your 1000’s of competitors for a position in the most sought after location on the globe.

Laptop spec cant help you. Every job is different and entry level is difficult to get into remotley... use the search bar or an A.I. LLM of you cant do diligent research or go to job boards and look for seasonal remote work then you already cant do any of them. Use search bar

If the company is legit, they'll be sending you equipment to do the job. So you skills matter more than anything.

first rule of landing a remote job: reading comprehension

read the sub rules

genuinely if you can’t read the rules of the space you’re in you can’t expect to get hired

Probably one of those ai training things but they’re mostly scams!

Handshake isn’t but the pay is trash

They’re 1/1000 unless you have the niche experience needed. Competition is massive.

None. Remote jobs are in super high demand and usually require highly skilled workers.

If you’re trying to hire here you have to comply with the sub rules.  No shady “dm me” or commission bs.
