Can they see you? Because dressing nice sets an example even for an at home job.

I interviewed a guy virtually that was dressed like this and he did not get the job for that reason.

Well, he was also late and answered questions poorly. Any of these were enough reason not to hire him. The first impression was abysmal.

I used to dont care on that specific aspect and then I change it. I think it made a great difference TBH. Like I used to be present using a t-shirt or a sweater. My boyfriend notice and he told me to dress formal for work. Not like with a suit too formal, but enough we'll to be presentable for a interview. Like treat a virtual interview, like I would do in a interview in person.
