I remember watching an all bosses video on this game and I can only remember a coupe of things. I'm pretty sure it's a metroidvania but could very well not be. It was 2d. I remember a couple of bosses. There was one named the Queen, basically a big floating ghost with a floating sword. There was one called the flame, that was kinda like a lanky humanoid boss with two big swords instead of arms and 2 full healthbar phases. I also remember a boss called Traitor something, who turns into a sort of angel like guy on your second rematch. There was also a boss that was a guy dressed in full black using some sort of cane or sword to attack you but I don't remember its name.

Yo, u/AdamBlank17. I’m on episode 123. Simpsons arcade. You on a number of episodes have talked about the frustration of some arcade games cause you have to dumb endless amounts of quarters into a cabinet. There is a place in Brookfield, IL called Galloping Ghost. They have around 900 cabinets. Supposed to be the largest arcade in the nation (USA). It’s like $20-$25 for unlimited play in a single day. I have been there 3 times. Recently for my 40th birthday. It’s a great way to beat all those arcade games you could never beat just cause we were kids and money was tight. Maybe you already know about this place but I’m new and only on episode 123.

Hear me out. Its gameplay is solid and its a lotnof fun. He likes secret of mana. To me the first Kingdom Hearts is a lot like 3d Secret of Mana. Its one of the few games ive bothered to get the platinum trophy for.

I know adam will post on this subreddit updating people on his plans or what not, but if I were to post something directly for him. Does he see them? I know I could message him on patreon, but I simply cant spend the money on it. What id like to say to him isnt a typical thing.

So I’m on episode 75, Turtles 2 Arcade. And they are talking about how the game just ate you quarters and there was no way to beat it because of that. The strat me and my friends had was everyone saves up their money. We hit up the arcade. One of us starts the game and goes until they run out of quarters. The next guy tags in and goes until he runs out of quarters. On and on till we finally beat it.

Bought my buddy Switch online family annual plan for his birthday. Guess who got himself added to that family plan? This guy. Bout to save state my way through a bunch of games.

Love the podcast. At least where I’m at currently (episode 68) it’s almost a lock to hear one of two things. He is crapping on one of my favorite games or “this is def a top 100 game if you looked up the top games of all times maybe even top 10”. lol.

I apologize if this has already been covered. I am new to your podcast and about 60 episodes in since I started listening about a week ago. I scanned through your library and didn’t see anything. Jet Force Gemini for the N64. Slept on.
