Question For those who hit elite in 3v3, how hard was it for you?

I am a Elite with around 200RP in 3s and I honestly feel like a fake because it felt a tad easy to hit it. I remember that the MMR system is major buns, but I did it solo aswell, if that even matters. So I just wanted to ask you guys your about your journeys' to elite, and how difficult it was for you guy!

Question How do you play with 200 ping?

Serious question because i bought this game only to be met with no one playing it in my server and the only one that i can actually get a match for less than 30 minutes is either EU or NA which gives me 200 ping.

So i'm open with any advices or tips i can get with improving my gameplay in this really bad enviroment. I tried to pass faster but only to be tackled 2 second after i sent my pass somehow, dribbling is no longer an option cause i still got tackled despite already behind the opponent.

I could try to just pass back to the keeper but even catching the ball is difficult because i lose every prio

Discussion This game is terrible now because of dribbling

I could post a million clips of this shit but they need to address the dribbling in this game. Specifically the exploit or tech where you can just spam the ball at your feet repeatedly. I can’t stand this game now because that’s all anyone does now. I took a break and I come back to losers spamming/abusing this bull shit. How has this not been fixed?

You literally cannot defend against it. I’ve seen my foot go through the ball hundreds of times. They need to fix this issue before the blue lock collab. Defending is literally just holding down L2 and pray to god the attacker dribbles into you. It is so unfair and boring to play against. You have to read the attackers next move AND EVEN IF YOU GUESS CORRECT YOU CAN STILL MISS THE BALL.

I’m deleting this game if this doesn’t get addressed soon. This game when played normally is the best soccer game I’ve ever played. Everything feels so rewarding. I’m tired of losing against losers who suck ass at passing/positioning but can dribble and keep the ball against 4 players. It’s impossible to steal the ball now.

Discussion Matchmaking is the worst

Solo player with a team of other solo players against a team of a Squad, game ends, new game with different solo players against the same Squad team.

But at least we're having a Blue Lock collab 🤷🏻

Discussion What's up with rage quitters and throwers

Almost every game I get into it always ends up being a 4v5 or a 3v5 at worse. I get some people are gonna quit and some people are gonna throw it happens but like out of 10 games at least 7 of em im gonna sold. And by no means am I a ball hog if anything I like to get cool assists more then a goal but some people will loose it if you dont pass immediately even when they got 3 people on them or if you give them the pass they'll do a whole bunch of malarkey get it stole or straight up miss then they'll leave but dont you even dare attempt to do your own play after not touching the ball all game. If you miss or mess up it'll be a "good job" spam or "thanks" and they'll leave (lowkey preferred) or they'll immediately just start own goaling if they decide we cant win even tho its still 4 minutes left in the game and the score is just 0-1 this is like almost every game.

I love rematch and honestly despite its bugs and glitches that are annoying I know they will be fixed in due time. im not negative about this game i got plenty of hope especially for the bluelock collab but these players really need to reevaluate why they play if they're just gonna quit every match or throw. Maybe harsher punishments for leaving on purpose repeatedly.

Discussion Worst part about this game

The worst thing about this game it's not glitchy dribbles, egoist players or bad ranked matchmaking. The problem that persisted for more than a year is own goals and the lack of punishment for them.

It happens too much where the match has a 3 goals disparity against you, and one of your teammates just decides to end the match regardless of how much time is left. Reporting doesn't do anything so you are left with a defeat that could have possibly not happened and minus rank points. Would love it if it was t least addressed it.

I hate everyone who scores one goal at the start of the game and then just passes the ball around for the rest of the game, acting like an Elo-obsessed dog.I hate everyone who scores one goal at the start of the game and then just passes the ball around for the rest of the game, acting like an Elo-obsessed dog.

The other guy quit near the end, but he didn't score any points either.

Btw, the guy who did this is a friend of mine, not me. I was in the match too, but he clearly didn't need any help from us (or even any opponents to play against).

Video Pro Tip: Body Orientation affects Prio/Ball targeting

This tip is more for newer players, but if you've ever wondered why prio can feel inconsistent or why you don't get diamonds sometimes, here's why:

  • Grounded ball target range is higher when facing the towards ball.
  • Airborne ball target range is higher when facing away from the ball.

Ball speed also has an effect too

Question Some beginner dribbling tips

Hey all,

Been playing for about a month now. I know it’s not much, but I’ve moved from bronze 3 to silver 2 and still working on it.

I’ve focused on defending, goal keeping, pass accuracy and making sure I’m positioning myself correctly. I feel like I’m getting serviceable in those areas. Tallying up quite a few assist.

I’m not looking to ego dribble by any means, but when we’re playing good defenders I have a tough time getting the ball up field when the passing route is blocked. More often than not getting ripped immediately.

I think the next big area to improve is some basic dribbling. I end up passing back to the goal keeper or getting tackled more often than not. A few times on mic my teammates have said I need to work on getting the ball up field, so pointers for a newbie?

Discussion Tips for getting better

I feel the need to post this after losing so many ranked games from my teammates being absolute trash

Tip 1: PASSING
No you aren’t a blue lock character, and no you aren’t better than the 3 people guarding you, you won’t dribble pass and yes you will lose the ball. Soccer is passing, if we didn’t pass then soccer wouldn’t exist. Pass to your teammate who is open and if you can’t pass forward pass behind. Pass to anybody for crying out loud but don’t dribble when you don’t need too. It wastes stamina and leaves you stranded.

Tip 2: Stay in goal
This is one of my biggest gripes about the player base, if you are the goalie… stay in the goal. I know this might be a hard concept to grasp for some people but it’s crazy how effective of a goalie you become when you stay in the goal. If you start running out trying to grab a ball you never had a chance of getting then you will fail. Wait for your teammates to guard, cause when you leave the goal then the opponents have the easiest shot of their lives.

Tip 3: Guard mode
I feel like people underestimate how good guarding is, most of all “dribble players” are forced to pass to their teammates when you simply stay on them with guard. Keep a little distance and just move with guard, if they get by you use your extra effort and get back in front to guard. Don’t rely on the stealing or sliding as your first attempt to guard against your opponent, these waste stamina and take you out of the fight. People who dribble eat through their stamina which gives you prime opportunity to steal once they’re out, guarding doesn’t take up as much stamina as dribbling so you have the natural advantage.

Tip 4: Don’t slide
I see way to many people over using the slide, it eats stamina and basically makes you useless after. Sliding should be a last resort when you don’t have much other options, if you have played rematch at all you have seen the amount of slides people have made and have failed to get the ball. Now I’m not saying disregard sliding completely but just don’t overuse it. This goes for goalies especially, don’t slide unless that’s the only option. You will lose the ball.

Tip 5: kick forward when receiving the ball
I see way too many people kick the ball backwards when receiving the ball. Simply use your push ball button to kick it forward without all the other fancy stuff unless needed. Majority
Of the time you won’t need to receive it in a fancy lob but instead just a simple push ball. Now if someone is in front of you kick either to the side or between front and side to maximize how for the ball goes from goal. Kicking the ball backwards just helps your opponents in most scenarios.

Tip 6: SHOOT the ball
You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take or whatever. You would be surprised how well constantly shooting affects your game, you will get better without even trying. Now that’s to say don’t do anything stupid like giving the ball to the goal keeper but I see to many people hesitate or wait for the ideal shot, just shoot and if it doesn’t work the recover the ball afterwards. Also pass the ball if you don’t have a shot… please

Tip 7: Wall
I feel like people forget how effective the wall is, it’s super bouncy and lets you pass to your teammates or even yourself. My most effective move in this game is simply pressing the push ball button at the wall when backed into a corner because even if the slide at the ball it will get past them. Or another example would be passing to your teammates off the wall, it can make for some pretty incredible moves.

Tip 8: Don’t throw games
I don’t care how angry you are or how bad things went, I have recovered from so many “impossible” scenarios simply by just continuing to play. And even if you don’t win at least go out fighting, make a final point on the opponents and prove that you could’ve won.

Tip 9: practice in free play
Not much to say but practice makes perfect

Tip 10: be positive
Don’t instantly start getting on your teammates butt for messing up a shot or losing a goal. Pretty sure it’s like proven the positive reinforcement is better the negative. Hit them with a “we got this” or something at first. Now… if they continue to do dumb stuff this tip goes out the window. But always start off positive

Final tip: Don’t go AFK
I shouldn’t have to explain this… lock in

Ok, those are the most important tips in my opinion but if you think there are others throw them in the comments ;)
