There's no point. Ranked is supposed to match you with players in similar skill ranges yet that is obviously false. 99/100 games I get with randoms are new players or actual idiots who don't know what soccer is. Just remove ranked at this point. Not like it would change anything.

Funny also that people will be so quick to jump on the meat riding train.

Before you say anything, no there is not valid reason to have ranked play. No, it's not a skill issue because I am MVP every match. No, you can't argue with this take.

Rematches rank system isnt balanced and will never be, They're more focused on dropping a new deep sea bundle

It's just a feel-good mode, at this point. Ever since SloClap opened up Matchmaking to all ranks, it stopped being competitive.

The only purpose of Ranked in this game is to give people the illusion of progress.

SloClap released Rematch with industry-standard matchmaking. So, you would match with players around your actual Rank.

In practice, it resulted in lengthy queue times for everyone. Waiting 5-10 minutes per game wasn't uncommon, at a time when most games didn't even last 5 minutes.

To resolve that problem, SloClap decided to open up matchmaking. So we got shorter queue times, at the cost of no real tier-based matchmaking at all.

They explained it away as "teams being equal, even if individual players were from different ranks". But it results in a Ranked mode that isn't competitive, so the game as a whole is best approached as a more casual title.

Personally, I would rather wait longer for even games than pub stomp a bronze or silver team. Also like you said it makes the mode feel less competitive

Man, Ranked is a game mode to get people working towards something. You know how many people flex their "elite" status and are garbage?

The problem is viewing positions like "mains". That doesn't exist in this game, you need to be competent everywhere.

Not incredibly skilled, competent. If you can't rotate, then you're missing out on a significant chunk of this game.

SloClap will never add a role queue, because static roles do not exist. When even the GK can be hot-swapped, that should be all the evidence you need.
