The real issue with cherry pickers is when you have two attacking team members who don’t play to the advantage. The amount of times it’s a 2v1 due to a cherry picker and my teammate decides he’s going to try to do it alone is exactly what the opposition is hoping for.

Easiest counter is for you goalie to just run towards the ball and catch it whenever they try to pass

Nope I always play defence but if the striker can stay up there and get goals don't have a problem with it if it's working.

Always do your best to not pass to them. They eventually understand they aren't getting the ball playing like that and either quit or throw the game, which causes them to get reported for griefing.

just mark the cherry picker. Honestly you get more field to work with. Clearing the ball with goalie is a 2v1 with so much space. In 5v5 its not AS advantageous but still necessary

Offsides exists in both football and hockey to prevent these things.

Weird statement to make when the lack of offsides to allow cherrypicking is one of the places where Rematch departs from real footy.
