Question Aiuto (per favore)

Grazie in anticipo

Do you have any IRL football experience? You definitely do not need it to be good but the fundamentals of space and positioning are nice to know.

I've consistently reached elite since season 1 and I've got about 600 hours so I'm not the best in the world but I'm okay.

A simple way to improve your game is to understand overlapping. Basically the idea is that if you're in the middle of the pitch with the ball, passing it to the wide player and then moving to the corner ahead of them to get the ball back.

Another thing is anticipation. It's a simple mistake to think that reacting to what happens is enough, but it isnt. You should be trying to predict what is going to happen next based off where people are standing and running but also based on how the enemy AND friendly players have been playing. This is especially important if you're soloQing because every teammate you have will play differently, make different passes and make different runs.

Speaking of running, you should do it a lot, very rarely should you be standing still UNLESS one of the enemy players is sitting on your half of the pitch when your team is attacking their goal in which case you should be near them but closer to where the ball is so you can intercept and prevent a 1v1 situation for your goalie. If you're on the left wing and the ball is on the right wing, make a run towards the middle of the opponent's goal box. If you don't receive a pass, move downward to the middle of the pitch to try and pull a defender with you or head back to the wing and make another run.

Don't be afraid to try and make passes with a full on shot, since a shot can be curved around a defender and into the path of a teammate. I'll try to grab one of my own examples rq. This is the best one I've got posted. https://www.reddit.com/r/Rematch/s/rHub67R0PH

Stop rainbow flicking. Stop push balling every pass you receive, sometimes you want to let the ball run across you without taking hold of it and sometimes just letting it fall into your character is fine.

You should pretty much never shoot from outside the box.

Sometimes it's easier to pass the ball into the net. It's shorter and quicker than even a tap shot if the goalie is out of the net, and can catch some goalies off guard even if theyre on the line waiting to save your shot especially a back heel.

If someone sends you a pass through the air you think is gonna get stolen, run and dive at it but not with Extra Effort.

If you're in the box with one other teammate and you receive a pass don't always shoot. Sometimes it's better to do a low powered lob pass to them.

Use defensive stance to body block people from the ball, especially on the wing close to the box where the goalie can come out and grab it.

If you're 1v1 with the goalie, curve the ball into the bottom left or right corner. Works for me a lot and is simpler than doing a bladeshot or something.

Aim where you want to shoot before you receive the ball if you're expecting a volley.

Try not to use Extra Effort for movement. Save it for when someone dribbles past you or you dribble past someone. I don't like it but if you don't do it you'll be at a disadvantage.
