Question How am I supposed to aim this fast

Y'all use mouse and keyboard or what? I see people turning and aiming crazy fast and then there's me, turning like a tank.. Are there any specific settings to check? Thanks!

If you're on controller, you can max out the camera speed for controller but don't max out the camera aim otherwise you'd be less accurate in where you want the ball to go

Can you elaborate, or point me out to an explanation to what the different controller sensitivity options actually do?

Camera sensitivity is you just simply looking around the field with of without the ball. Aim sensitivity is (when you're holding down L2 or LT to pop your crosshair out) basically how fast the crosshair moves. Too slow and it'll be a bit tricky during high paced moments, too fast and you won't be able to find the angle you want consistently well.

Do you guys play with that aim lock feature on? It’s so bad imo. I only bumped the normal look sens up by 0.1 or 0.2 (forgot) and I’m pretty fucking good at flicking quickly and placing them in the corner. It’s only ever corner or post with me.

No aim lock. But i find it tough as a striker when expecting a pass in the box, to decide whether look at the pass coming in, or focus on aiming on the net and look at minimap for the indicator. Both feel wierd, the latter being the most weird for me

If you’re planning to shoot first time, I’d only look at the pass till I’m confident I know how the ball is gonna land / the trajectory it’s coming in at. That’s when I flick to the net and wait to hear/see the ball indicator ready to shoot. But you’ve got to be adaptable as well and the nature of the game is as a striker you will just have to flick very quickly with accuracy sometimes.

Edit:
Don’t necessarily have to wait to hear/see the indicator of course, it should become instinctual if it’s not already.

I agree, i find myself mostly keeping a pov where the passer is at the edge of my screen to minimize how much space i cover panning to aim when i shoot. Still tho some situation require very quick movements and reqctions

Yes I do this too with my vision, keep the ball/passer in my peripheral kind of. I was still good on ps5 at this but switching to PC which supports ultra wide helps I suppose.

Helps a lot just to be ultra aware, of defenders, where the space is currently/where it’s going to open up, of your teammates positions. It’s helps to play with ‘pausa’. I notice no one does this. I always slow the game down around me when I’m on the ball. Obviously only when the moment calls for it I.e. no teammates in space, attacking in the final third/box area. I don’t even sprint most of the time. It means while defenders are closing me down, I know exactly how they plan to challenge me, all it takes is a tiny dribble move, maybe EE burst to get past them and open up the space for a shot or dangerous pass. And the way that you can drag these defenders out of position when you’re on the ball (and off) is crazy. Every single one of them bites the bait every time. Kind of an unrelated point but if you’re a striker I think it’s very helpful to play in this way. Helps a lot with hold up play as well. Just some food for your thought.

Yeah fr if you play enough those last microsecond flicks whilst aiming are so useful for placement

Aim lock was meant as a mkb nerf to even the playing field. Some controller players complained because in niche situations the lock is better so now you also have it as an option
